Looking at the scorers it seems that most of the traffics gone down the Yeaman/Briscoe side again. How have Martin/Sharp or replacements faired?

Too right, as long as we beat Bradford at least once a season I will be happy, even if it means over 25 years without a major trophy.

Well, that was comprehensive. Forwards dominant and Seymour much more comfortable today. Moa got through a tonne of work and McKinnon looked good in support. Feel for Bradford. Not sure what positives they can take from that. Superb conversion by Radders BTW.

Wade McKinnon could well be our best signing this year.

His organisation at the back and support play were first class and exactly what we've been missing.. You could see the confidence rushing back to players like Will Sharp who had another solid game today... A season of building and continued, but slow, improvement is upon us and I for one am looking forward to it without expecting too much too soon!!

A lot of positives from that performance.

McKinnon was brilliant, always looking to support and very safe at the back. Seymour took control in the second half, him and McKinnon link up very well. Our defence was brutal at times, lots of hard tackles and always winning the collision. O'Carrol very solid and vocal. Horney worked hard in defence and attack and was heavily involved. Good kicking game all round from both halves. Nicko did well when he came on, as did Pearce.

nice sly dig, but we played a team who wasn't having their first run out of the season!

Did big Sam go off in the first half or did he play 58 minutes straight?

The whole team performance was an order of magnitude better than last week and it looks like we may finally have some halves and a full back who can do the biz.

As others have said it was an encouraging performance, Bradford had a strong team on paper but looked poor. I didn't think our defence was that bad last week, it was just weight of possession, but it was very good today. Nice to see a short kicking game.

I think the only decision for Gentle next week is right centre, for me it has to be Tony Martin. Aspinwall ran strong today and I would say beat out Whiting for the back row subs spot.

The comment about Pearce's fitness intrigues me, he's been with FC for two years, if he's not fit surely some conditioner needs the sack?

not sure if potter left certain players out for a reason, but the bulls were terrible, one reason i'm not getting carried away with todays score, apart from burgess, their forwards were unable to make any yards and they had to rely on the kicking game to make them and get them out of trouble...could be a long season for bradford fans

Correct the extra 40 minutes our first team had had really showed. Still you've put a injury hit Bradford side under the pump at least

Forgot to mention, I am still undecided on the Westerman role, the ball often stopped in the middle when it got to him.
