are all the stewards at the kc idiots?me and 5 mates have got season passes for south stand and went to the game on friday, one of the lads was on crutches with a massive steel brace on his leg and couldnt get up and down the stairs courtesy of a drunken accident at st helens. with this in mind you would think the stewards would let him sit in the disabled areas and use the disabled access, like heck they did!! !

So you wanted him to sit in the disabled area because he got pi$$ed at Sts.....he isnt disabled...ok let him use the access but why should he sit there because he cant hold his ale....sit on the outside of the row and stick his leg out.

I agree, the disabled area is for disabled people, not injured people.

They are just doing their job in that situation cannot really blame them. Sure if you got there early enough he could have picked and aisle seat or a front row seat and then his leg brace would not have been an issue??

And if your mate got injured pi$$ed up at Saints I'd rather the NHS had waved him away.

He wasn't disabled he had crutches so was capable of negotiating the stairs and sitting down.

Standee a lot of people got pi$$ed up at Saints why should the NHS turn someone down for that? If you have a car accident and its your fault would you expect the NHS to tun you down?

I just want to see his reasoning for that. When you look at most accidents they are self inflicted in one way or another hence the term "ACCIDENT"

Oddly enough, when I had a car accident several years ago (other driver's fault) the NHS tried to bill me for my treatment. Apparently it was 'standard procedure' and up to me to claim it back from the other guy's insurance.

I refused to pay, pointing out that as a taxpayer I'd already done so several times over. They eventually let it drop.

I'd not treat smokers et al either.

it's called criminal negligence, Kosh was right not to pay, but the NHS should be chasing payment. A friend of mine was charged for recovery from a field and being cut out by the Fire Service in an accident that was his fault.

So really the NHS should be charging for everything barring natural problems!! Women having babies should be charged because they got into the 'position' to get pregnant. Old people should be charged for age induced injuries because they had the temerity to get old.

We pay for the NHS with our taxes at the end of the day so we are paying for it either way.

why dont you move to america then standee were they let people die outside of hospitals if they cant afford treatment! Everyone who works has more than paid enough money to be entitled to health care, regardless of blame. I would wager that they would probably even remove that massive chip on your shoulder free of charge. If not, i'm sure there a few people on here who would more than happily chip in

It's fair to say I was pretty gobsmacked myself. I looked into it and as Standee says it was introduced for cases where the blame could be pinned on someone as a way of reducing the cost to the NHS.

When i was on crutches i managed to get upto my seat back row, middle with no probs

Also got to use the lifts too ad get a good parking space

Don't bite it will just frustrate you further

right, fair enough disabled seats are for disabled people but when you got 7 out of 10 seats free in the area and someone on crutches and scaffolding attatched to his leg that cant be bent stood in front of ya, it wouldnt be a bother to no one, wernt looking for sympathy on here for the lad, just pointing out how they had the chance to be helpful but were just awkward

Fair do's mate..I agree they could have provided more help in at least giving him access and he could have waited to see if any seats were available. I think the majority are helpful and some get a little bit jobsworth
