The Roy Waudby Youth Development Fund are organising a '2010 Season of Promise' lunch to raise funds for the Hull FC scholarship. It will take place on Sunday 7th March at the Willerby Manor Hotel, commencing 12.30 to 1pm. Guests will include Sean Long, Craig Fitzgibbon, Mark O'Meley and Shaun Berrigan and M.C. for the event will be Peter Smurthwaite, a regular guest on Radio Humberside's Sportstalk. Tickets are priced £20/head which will include a two course lunch,raflle, and the event is open to children aged 14 and over.

you can book tables of 10 or just book as single places and tables will be made up.

Hope you have all had a read of the thread about the lunch,should be a great day and we have managed to get 4 great players there,also decided to keep the price to an affordable one and also open it to over 14 year olds,tickets are selling well so if anybody fancies coming just drop me a pm please.

you can have tables of 10 or just get places as you wish and tables will be made up,remember all money raised is for the hull fc scholarship the youngsters need our support.

Had this as a sticky for a few weeks ive decided to have it taken off now its getting nearer the date,the roy waudby foundation has sold over 120 tickets for the dinner doo so far which is pretty good seen as we are only one game into the new season,they have managed to get 4 great guest to attend plus i think reece,mike burnett,jack briscoe will be there also hoping to get agar and moore to attend,the tickets have been kept to a very reasonable price of £20,if anyone is interested in going could you pm me please for further details,its tables of 10 or tables can be made up to suit.

would just like to say thanks to everyone who turned up at the lunch,was a great afternoon nice interviews with the players just a shame longy missed out cos of been ill,hopefully raised a few quid for the scholarship,ill put a figure on here once all money is counted up.

liked the 1 about who was the odd 1 out in the hull pack v aussies. we sussed out question but had trevor skerett not keith bridges as only non hull forward. doh

We put Mick Harrison as he hadn't played for Hull at all that season. Way before my time and, in fact, totally wrong too

i cant take credit for that , saw that on here a few weeks ago and had to use it
