That's right... Hull FC to leap frog FOUR teams to reach the play-offs on the final day!

To be honest, a lot of these results aren't that unrealistic to expect. Only one I would guarantee not happening is Hull winning away at Wigan at all, let alone by 18. But Wigan could always have an absolute stinker. Warrington are distracted by the CC, and CC finalists usually play awful the week after. Catalans have got some hard fixtures. Bradford have found a little bit of form (3 wins in 4). Harlequins have just been dire for weeks. 1 win in 10 says it all (worse form than Hull!).

Anyone know the odds on Bradford or Hull making the play-offs?!

The gutting thing is that, despite being so poor since March, we were relatively close to making the 8. Even though we've been outclassed by the top teams, we've lost way too many games by 4-10 points. Hopefully the sort of games a player like Long can make the difference in with a bit of leadership and intelligence.

Just like last year.

If we had 3/4 of the ability of our 2006 side, we would be top of the league this year. THe standard is a lot poorer, or rather the class gulf between sides is closer.
