Former Hull FC player Gareth Raynor goes on trial accused of rape and attacking woman
FORMER Hull FC and Great Britain rugby league star Gareth Raynor has appeared in court today charged with rape.
Mr Raynor, 36, is also accused of unlawfully wounding the same woman.
On day one of the trial at Hull Crown Court, a jury of eight men and four women was told the alleged rape happened in East Yorkshire between December 30, 2006, and January 2, 2007.
