Hope people remember this when we hit a dip in the road as all teams do. That said I'm hoping the first four games of the season count towards that dip.

Fingers crossed for that key element that has been absent for some time.........Consistency!! Keep it up WP et al. On current form the next three games are very winnable.

In 1962 we beat Warrington in the 1st round of the cup then beat Wigan (at Belle Vue in the game that featured in This Sporting Life) in the 3rd round and went on to beat Huddersfield in the Final at Wembley!
An omen???

All I’ve ever wanted from Wakey win or lose is that passion and commitment in the games they play .Under Willie we seem to have found our mojo again ,and even that poor half against Leeds our heads didn’t go down as too often in the past they have ,and came out after the break and gave Leeds it . We simply won’t win all our games ,that’s true ,but if we can play to our strengths and the best of our abilities then IMO we’ll be a force to be reckoned with this season ,and that is all every fan has ever wanted from our team . Our future seems much brighter than I can remember both off and on the field , and it’s great to share these happy times with this present set up who have done us all immensely proud .

And joyfully, (for me) Torquay United won too!
