Crigg All Blacks hold a special part in the Crowther house hold,Jordan had 8+ great years there and his cousin Tom also ,who went to Fev.They invited Jordan to present the end of season trophies to the 7and 8 yr olds recently,hopefully also future Wakey players.Mick and his fellow committee members made us welcome and caught up with old friends.I wish them all the best for the future and get the rewards they deserve

Should be a good day and seeing 17 lads walking out on the pitch proud to be wearing a Crigg shirt is enough reward for the turmoil the club has had to go through over the last 8 months hopefully this is a turning point for the club.
I've hear that Jordan's shirt has been framed and may well be on the wall by the weekend Martin would be nice to see you up there if you have the time

Game KO is 2pm but we'll be doing a few things beforehand from 1ish, we will have all our new sponsors there and also members of Wakefield council and Crigglestone Parish council following our successful grant applications and awards, going to be taking some photos with the press in attendance along with Michael Carter and daddy cool, hopefully we might see a couple of the WTW 1st team but due to the Sunday game we won't know availability until 12pm.
New draught beers at reasonable prices and if snowie can ever sort me out with a hand pump we might take some of his beer off him, but he's to busy cleaning spilt pie off his clothes

Having spent the best part of 30 years involved, it's great to be back again after a 4 year gap.
The culture, language, discipline, honesty and respect have returned to the club, not to mention some of the people who had drifted away.
We are on a roll and will rebuild partnerships within the community and hopefully in a few years, produce a few Super League players
which we can develop under the Wildcats umbrella.

Mentioned this before regarding walks to Cas, USUALLY (I've put in capitals because the last time I suggested it was relatively empty apparently) the Comrades on Ashgap lane is chocca on Cas and Wakey home games so might be an idea to shake your buckets in there, it's the last normal town before going to the dark side.

Thanks for the tip off, we will have a couple of buckets to carry with us, there should be a good mixture of juniors and older players not to mention the odd even older parent of players and members.
We really need to raise as much money as we can as the changing rooms have been like the forth bridge over the last few years and need some proper money spending on them effectively starting from scratch.
