Looks like the RFL sent a kid out on work experience for me in G Stokes and had Childs on the touch line to look after him. Got a host of decisions wrong IMO and had a shocker !! That said, it didnt help that miked up to him was Childs on the touch line who basically ran the show from there. Cant count the number of calls Childs made from the touch line as if to say, dont worry lad, Ill look out for you when you balls up !!!

Shocking day all round - the attack was shocking especially on the 5th play - WTF are we practising in training ?? Sammut gotta start 6 against the Bulls !!

This has been said on other threads but again I will say the most inept and inconsistent display by a ref I can ever remember and while not to blame for the defeat , it certainly didn't help us.

The referee was shocking, unfortunately our team performance was worse, end of story.

westwood should have walked inmho but it didn't get away from the fact we were woeful to a under strength warrington side that never got out of first gear

Not sure what you were watching; neither team was on side or square at the ptb, he bottled two spear tackles and a dangerous throw, and spent half the time struggling to haul his backside back into position.

Terrible ref - when you need James Child to babysit, you know you have a problem.

So really then Stokes is blameless if Child refereed from the touchline.

I watched the same game as you and I gave my opinion of the ref I thought he let a dour game get on with being dour.

That is how I saw it.
