I have been watching since 1997 and have seen many low points like many of you! I don't come on this forum often but I am thrilled to see so many of you posting positive contributions to this forum! I had a bit of an angry reaction on Saturday! But reading posts on here have calmed me down and made me realize that there is no better 'core' supporters in SL. In my opinion anyway

It certainly feels that way being a Trin fan! But surely we are due to have some good stable times! I like to be a blind optimist at times, dreams can never be truly shattered!

Had 15mins with someone tonight in the know down at Trin and said that money will come in from outside,a scrum half will be found and there will be pain before gain ,but ,we will have a competitive team next season.All players were devastated on Saturday when they got to know,hence ,maybe,the performance on Sunday.Danny Kirmond will definatley stay.I know at this present time things are hard to take,but,after this conversation I did feel much confident about the future,maybe rose tinted glasses I don't know,but like Jesper says I believe better times for my club lay ahead.

Scrum half might that be a loan player from Warrington or Leeds whom I have been told will loan us some players for next season if we have to sell to balance finances up.

We may end up with loan players, but the search for a SH, inc overseas, has begun.

Situation normal at Belle Vue. Has been all about money problems since 1980. I've lost count of the number of new starts since then by successive managements. Just for once I'd like to see the club run truly professionally - there always seems a great temptation to spend money on overseas players that we have not got . That has to stop now.
I may see this through with the club but anymore and I will find another pastime.

The question is would you actually keep watching if by running professionally we had to go to the Championship?

When you've stopped traffic in Magaluf, conducting hordes (and I mean HORDES) of drunken holiday makers in choruses of the Jason Demetriou song..... well, that felt pretty die hard!!

And that is why we are in a mess again.
Fans are fickle, the majority are fair weather supporters who have to be wooed somehow.
Cheap tickets,signing players we cannot afford etc etc and when things go wrong they are the first to leave and back to square one again.
I can only see one way we are ever going to be a force and that is somehow to entice a Davy or a Koukash.
Look at Fev they are only able to be hammering on the Superleague door because somehow they have attracted wealthy backers.
It really is a mystery to me why we are not able to do so when others can.
I mean without being too subjective or disrespectful we have far more potential than someone like Fev.
