I have not seen the game tonight and on seeing the result it is obvioiusly a dissapointing evening but do not let one game mar what has been a great season for Wakefield.

In my opinion you have over achieved on a major scale put out a team capable of beating anyone on there day and have a youth team with great potential.

This season assuming the stadium gets the go ahead will be the one that gives you credibility as a club, and lays the foundationjs for future growth of a great rugby league club.

I personally would like to say thanks for 2009 Wakefield Trinity its been a great season for all involved with the club, here is to 2010, but lets not forget October the 3rd and get behind the lads in the Academy final.

Midnight - just got home to Warwickshire. When the hooter went I was totally gutted and headed for the exit feeling really disappointed with such a sad end to the season. Wasn't really interested in clapping the team but I stopped by the gate out and watched as they did their lap. And do you know what? I suddenly remembered what a fantastic season we've had. How with just a bit more luck (Leeds at home springs to mind!!) we could have finished in the top 4 and how we've massively stuck it up all those "experts" who predicted we'd be in the bottom 3. And all this in the context of the tragedies that have befallen the club. And I clapped the lads and I felt proud to be a Trinity supporter! Thanks for a great season lads and good luck to those who are leaving (even those who didn't turn up tonight!) I can't wait for next season and another infuriating, frustrating, exhilarating, exciting roller coaster ride with JK's barmy army!

How the hell have we massively overachieved? JK simply built on the previous seasons achievment. Very few signings coming in - compared to most SL clubs. Most Wakey supporters were happy with the squad and confident that 2009 would see another progression - which it did.
