With Wigan winning last night we really need Sainst to turn it on against Wire. A win for Wire and our game v Saints next up there's a strong possibility we might drop out of the 8 for the 1st time this season.
Of the teams above us I think Quins are looking like the only side moving in a downward direction.

Its gunna be close but the lads looked like they were well and trult up for the battle last night.

Think HKR seem to be our best chance too, as the others have said all the others appear to be improving or hitting form.

Last night performance was enough to convince me we can make the 8. This wasn't any Leeds tream, it was a Leeds team that are in form and playing with confidence.

We need to target 4 wins, Cas, Celtic and Hull KR at home and Salford away, that should do it for us. We need to keep our cool even if we get beat comfortably by Saints and then prepare well for the run in

After saints we have one more game against a team currently above us been KR in theory we should win the nest 3 after Saints any win v hudds, Leeds or saint would/could be a bonus as I don't expect us to beat them however the next 3 cas, Salford and Celtic should all be winnable as too Catalan but in France is very different only slip ups wud be KR an Wire but fingers cross.

agree with that mate and if we played like we played last night, we will win a lot more than we lose. great effort from them all.

These past two weeks and next were always going to be difficult, but don't think we should loose sight of the 8 though. We can still get there.

If you can maintain the same level of effort and intnsity as last night you should walk into the play-offs and this in my opinion is where your real test starts now.
Can this wakey squad be "up for" other games like they were against the champs???
I honestly believe you can make the play-offs and have an impact but i wouldn't play atkins on the right again

Its going to be touch and go for the top 8 this season for Wakefield IMO. Yes they do have the quality in the squad but am not sure you can play at that intensity level every week.

I think the next 3 games are pivotal for Wakefields season...........you will either kick on or fall apart IMO.

Hope you make it though as would be a good finish to a difficult season.
