I think you are right there. However is Grix plays poor at stand off, what do you do with him ?

Could we get away with him just playing as a running SO with Brough and Drew organising

Obst at stand off leave Grix out. It's really difficult given that we don't have a stand off just think Obst offers a bit more.

That could work but i just think that Obst would be a bit of a liability against the big Leeds pack.

maybe if we compare him to a prop but not in comparison to grix, especially as he would be stood wide as a stand off

although i would personally go for grix to avoid the whole 3 hookers on the pitch issue. if obst does start at 6 he has to stay well away from the ruck for me

since when has Obst become a liability in defence?

As a small bloke he is targeted as a weak link. Obst stands up well on a one on one tackle but when he is constantly isolated it takes it toll. Same can be said of Drew & Latu so it’s a fine balance as to which two play.

What did he offer last week anywhere on the field?

True, but for me obst's form this season hasnt been anywhere near previous seasons IMO of course

30 tackles and was involved in all of our trys



But imo i prefer Obst over Latu, due to his tackling and kicking ability. People say he gets targeted because he is small, but he stands up to the players who target him.

I agree thats probably the case BUT i just think Sam will always give his all for the team and sometimes have doubts about others.

Fair enough but, hes getting targeted every week, hes not a 6, and not imo an impact no9.

And with ali lauititi and the rest of the big forwards would prefer to have latu instead of obst on the field considerign we will already have drew on the field.
