True, and a lesson to all those who seriously believe the comments made by most, if not all RL players the moment they've signed a new contract / joined a new club. Fair play to him though, he did the biz for us, has shown Bradford what he can do, and has got his reward, on merit. |

As I've pointed out numerous times to the "insider knowledge brigade", players, club staff and relatives there of are some of the biggest bull merchants in the game. People never seem to twig that all about vested interest. Whether it be slagging the club off, claiming undying loyalty etc etc it should all be taken with a pinch of salt. In fact I don't believe a word of it most of the time.
People seem to hear what they want to hear (usually after a few pints) and claim it as fact - from my experience it's never over until the fat lady sings - or Kear and Richardson say so. |

Perhaps he's worked hard to prove himself to a coach that he has a lot of respect for and now he's been given the chance he's commited himself to the club he loves and wants to impove even further? |

Same old theory - when a player leaves they were either the greatest player in the history of the sport (Peter Fox et al.) or waste of space, useless, never tried (Griffin, Sculthorpe etc.) |

We have blown it there a lad on his last year who wanted to play for us but the tight Trin failed to get him we were winning with kids in early in the season miracullously and Halley was 1 of the stand out performers. He fell out with bradford for ages because he was hert they did not find him good enough for the first team. He was ours for the taking. Argh frustrating !

If you are looking for a reason look in Halley's direction, I think you will find the problem there. |
