I couldn't choose between Grix, Ashurst or Lynne for MOM.

If We'd have scored early second half we'd have killed them off and they wouldn't have had that crazy 10 minutes. Previous seasons we'd have lost that match by a lot. We got out of jail and won and I'm happy. Salford looked a good side and its shaping up to be a close strong SL season this year.

Wood gets defences thinking as he can go from dummy half or pass, unfortunately Finn doesn't scoot, so gives an air of predictably from the ptb.

I like Finn but me and a couple of others thought he struggled with Salfords ruck speed. He knew what he wanted to do but it wasn't quick enough

It looked like Masila dropped both his tries over the line, Grix is definitely asking, even Greg Johnsons looks a bit iffy, we're spoilt with slo-mos and vid refs in the games that are actually covered properly, still...if you start looking at salford in minute detail, gotta look at Wakey too.....so we'll leave that then..


There's a lot of desire in the Wakey side, execution is staccato but who can doubt their guts, commitment and will, take a look at miller and williams after lynes winner, cuddling on the floor like a couple of school girls...lol.....the game clearly means something to them, nobody's here just to get paid, you can't say that about every squad we've had in recent years.

Haha Fair enough - I'm no Fifita bagger btw, think he's quality but didnt seem to make much impact. He's such an unassuming lad, maybe he slipped under my radar.

Had he managed that extra metre at the end of his final run it would've brought the house down. He probably tied up enough players to allow the space across the right for Lyne's try.

In the past sometimes, I have bagged Fifita a little bit, maybe unfairly.

It could be the long minutes he was doing in games in the latter part of last season, but I don't think he managed to back up his performance against Huddersfield, but for me I think his last two games have been the best he's had since then.

Sometimes he looks like hes going down the moment he makes contact, but it could well be that he likes that 'lower point of gravity', that Phil Clarke speaks about a lo.

Chris Chester said on his conference that he feels there should be video refs at every game. I do agree on this, and I know there is an argument of finances. How about if the clubs took a vote on this at the RFL/chief execs meetings, and even if the clubs offered to take a small cut in the distrisbution monies, to help offset the costs of video technology,
