IMHO Jowitt makes a big difference in many aspects.

1 it's a squad. Someone will always not play
2 Arundal is a centre or second row
3 Hampshire covers full back and half back, may be on the bench.

I agree, I think we are a better team with Jowitt in the side.

I prefer jowitt over the other two but I honestly don’t see the difference between jowitt or Hampshire being difference between a win or a loss

I know what you are saying but small differences do have an impact.
Just having someone who is safer at the back gives confidence, and if Max can link in the line as well as he has done in the past he will add more to our attack. Rocky is outstanding with ball in hand but for me he is all about speed. I feel like he upsets the flow of the ball. He needs to be the last to get it rather than the second. Not sure its his fault or his team mates fault but it does cause us a problem.

But to your point, neither will be the difference. Drinkwater and Maloney will be the difference.

Fair point POP TART.would be more conferdent if there was just Drinkwater and Maloney on the field.

Perhaps the rl could have a special rule where every time Catalan score they have to take a player off - so they probably would end up with only two players left on the field.

In theory our outside backs should be a match - duds on Costa bousqiet v arona wood fafita pretty even , Whitley mcmeeken Garcia probably not as good as our back three - think there bench is quite a bit stronger than ours

catalan are flat track bullies and drop to bits when stood up to but the question is have all our pack got it in them to do it and to make drink water and maloney look out of sorts. That is the only time Miller and lino will get some field if we can at least reach parity with their pack. I wouldn’t send senior in or jowitt or Ryan first drive off our line either they are game but too light and it sets the tone of the set getting driven back, before we know they field the kicks and are back on half way. If we can go in with an attitude in the pack of let’s take them on then who knows if we don’t I fear a good hiding coming

If you would have McMeeken in your side over Tanginoa there is something wrong with you old boy, McMeeken hasn`t had a good game in about 2 years, biggest penalty machine in the league as well.

Infact he is probably Catalans 3rd best Second rower behind Garcia and Whitley.

Wigan joining them but well done to york injury ravaged team with around 10 players out and they got closer to wigan than we did.

HKR must be disappointed to score 32 points at home and loose. They an now concentrate on staying up in the knowledge they can string some points together.

There's an old saying in rugby (not sure which code it stemmed from but it applies to both!) forwards win games and backs decide by how many points.
IMO we need a couple of forwards with a bit of granite, not 'dirty' players but hard men, because in RL talent alone is not sufficient.
