Too complicated for us, the club needs to impose a rule pre game that limits the pre sale of tickets to this limit, thus forcing/encouraging supporters of both home and away teams to pre purchase.
I appreciate this could cause some spectators not to come, but we do not want to comprimise supporters safety or the upset the authorities.
Judging by the reduced number it looks like half the stadium needs some sort of improvement and highlights the need for NM ASAP.

It does beg the question what’s happened over the course of last year that has made things so much different to now? No actual stands are restricted, it’s a stadium capacity restriction. Things like this don’t just turn up. Signs of failure would’ve been present last year. I’m sure the report would’ve said it’s ok for now but for next year this will need sorting. Was the previous regime aware of this beforehand but kept schtum?

As an aside, was PP for the temporary roofs ever renewed?

Not good. Whilst more may now pre-purchase tickets not everybody will and some that walk up will not bother in case they don't get in. Any away fans that usually just pay on the gate may not bother travelling in case they don't get in or will have to purchase their tickets from their own clubs which means we lose out on a percentage of the sales.

It will only lessen our revenue and for a club already short of pots to pee in then it is bad news. At least the fixture list is quite kind and will lessen some impact but as has been said it needs to be sorted by good friday.

It might encourage more people to volunteer if they knew there was something their skill or trade could help with.

I'm guessing if you're a receptionist or a doctor you need not volunteer, if you work in the construction industry then there's a good chance your help will be wanted.

If they need windows or conservatories there's a local guy who advertises on TV.

I would imagine it is a standard H&S inspection for a venue like ours and the winter weather could easily have damaged enough of the concrete or roof area to call an issue on it.

It's not just ours that would have suffered damage. it's just more public and less likely to be covered by insurance.

I used to talk with a H/S guy when visited our works many years ago who did visits at Belle Vue, he told that steveo used to crap him self climbing the ladders to get on top of the prefabs to do the commentary's hence now the steps.

I think I read somewhere that in our last season at Knowsley rd it cost £500k to keep it open at full capacity. These d stadiums can become a millstone round the neck of a club

I guess away fans will be more likely to stay at home anyway, though on the other hand it'd be a shame to see your first home game with 2k off attendance on TV
