I do not think I have seen anything positive from you. Ateam can play well and lose equally it can play poor and win, 2 games in and unbeaten is grounds for optimism!

sorry but my opinion at the moment from what I have seen of us and the rest of the comp we will be in a fight to make top 8.

Probably not far off. Would probably have us maybe 4 to 6 point favourites. We're certainly a better team than they are but they're at home so I think we probably just have a slight edge.

I have us down for a more comfortable victory, 10-12 points, which will easily clear the handicap.
Mind you, this is Wakefield and if we are not known for doing it easy and in years gone by, we would always come un done if we had the favourites tag.
Thankfully, this does seemed to have changed over the past couple of seasons and Catalan and in particular, McMamara, are increasingly under pressure.
Beware the wounded beast.

Hopefully it will be dry and warm in Perpignan so our speedsters get chance to run and we win by 20 points

Moa, Julien, Mcllorum, Anderson and Gigot all back for Catalans, good players all.

90% of SL players are good, it's the teams they play for that make them look poor.

5% of players are great in any team.

5% are awful no matter what team they are in.

So it's the team and not the player that matters most IMHO.

If they replace 5 awful players with 5 good or great ones (mind you, i'm not sure they have too many of those), they will improve and they would expect to be a little better with those mentioned by "Belly".

We still have plenty in the forwards to win this one and with Johnstone and BJB, who had a wow of a game there last season, in the squad, we should still come away with the points.

Vasty is correct, team spirit, desire etc make the team. We have that which is good, not sure if Catalans have gelled into a unit all working towards a common goal, if and when they do they will be good team.

None of them would get in our starting 13. McIlorum would be would be the closest.

If both sides are at their absolute best, I’d expect us to win this. If we’re not it’s going to be a tough one.

I would say McIllorum would definitely fit into our team. The rest, no thanks.

Luke Walsh not in squad which I think totally outweighs the potential players returning ...he seems to have been the only guy trying to create anything in Catalans last game

They played well against Saints at home and dreadful the next game away at HKR, hard to tell which team is going to turn up, playing them away we need to be switched on from the off. I personally think it will be a close game with a Wakey win

the full game last week and every game of other teams that have been on sky/fox

catlans have named probably their strongest side of the year- we will have to play very well to win - on the first two games those performance wont be enough.
I am hoping for a fast track to cause what we do have is speed.

Well after finding out ATM 8:30 this morning my lad has been put in to the U19's starting line up due to an injury I've managed to sort a flight and car plus hotel to get out there in the morning, hopefully see 2 wins with my lad making his official debut in a trin shirt after playing in 2 pre-season friendlies.


Unfortunately the forecast is only 10C not like every other time I've been and it's been in the high 70's or warmer
