I know there is a lot at stake this year, but you shouldn't be relying on a points deduction to save your team from relegation.
For what its worth, I can't believe that you guys haven't already taken action against the RFL for their apparent 'empty promise' of instant relegation. |

I think the panel are doing a thorough job so that whatever the result neither party can complain. Essentially if Bradford didn't take some evidence deemed important to me that suggests either they don't have it, or the individuals representing them aren't very professional.

I have had a quick check and it seems the former administrator David Wilson,lodged the appeal before Moore walked away from the club.
When Green took over he continued with the appeal
No mention of who is funding it.

I'm not but would to still have the same players here before we had to let them go, tough call go into admin and get demoted and keep our players or stay up and sell them
oh and don't forget the rent for the rfl  |

That's my thoughts too. I seriously doubt anyone would not bring sufficient evidence with them if they had it. It looks to me like the panel are giving them a fair hearing so there can be no doubt what so ever at the final decision. If they really are independent, their own credibility will be at stake and the last thing they will want is to be subject to more conspiracy theories. If Bradford have more evidence, then fair play to them, but if they don't could they withdraw their appeal to save face? |

If it's written down anywhere, I'd be very surprised, so even it was relayed to him verbally, the RFL would issue a straight denial and say that he must have misinterpreted what was said etc etc.
I think that particular argument is a bum steer; either because it never happened, or because there is no proof that it ever happened.

It doesn't add up as to ever being on the record. What process would the RFL have been following? In fact did Carter ever even say it?! |

Yes Carter said it a few times in public including in an interview broadcast on Boots n All a few weeks ago. The RFL never challenged this in public which makes me see it as fact. Compare that to the public spat in public a few months ago between the Bulls and the RFL when they challenged each other's allegations.

Wouldn't London have been told the same thing ? If so, then surely it's conclusive evidence - but if they haven't , then it's one word against another . |

We have the Bulls fans believing that the RFL advised them to go into admin to force OK to part with his shares and we have the Wakefield fans believing that if we went into admin, then we would be demoted.
Talk about poles apart.
Whatever the case and whoever may have said what to whom, The Bulls went into admin due to insolvency and a points deduction is fully in order, regardless of whether OK's hand was forced.
BUT, the outcome will be slanted in favour of either the governing body or a club that the RFL can not afford to lose from SL, certainly an interesting conundrum.
The prospect of Salford being drawn into the fray, may help us ? |

Pinsent Masons do a lot of this type of thing for the RFL and clubs.
Rather that being part of a conspiracy, you have to ask yourself, how many firms of solicitors in the North are going to be specialized in sports laws and familiar with RFL regulations? |

That maybe the case but it doesn't exactly make them truely 'independent' as claimed does it?
For example they could have used these guys. I mean the fact that they are partners with Wakey wouldn't have bothered Bradford at all would it?

Pinsent Masons do all of the RFL Legal Work and have for the past 8 years. Thats why they were used for that transaction.
It would have seemed far more inappropriate for the RFL to have ditched the legal firm they have used for 8 years and used a different one, affiliated to Wakefield, for this specific case.
