Why the hell are post on here not in time order?

There it is again.

The state of the north terrace was well known years ago, this is nothing new. I honestly thought the present regime also knew the facts about its composition when they decided to erect the new structures.

By the way, when the last regime looked at developing belle vue (about 4/5 yrs ago) the structural survey on the west terrace was not that good either. I am sure they were told by building control that a serious amount of strengthing work was need to the back of the terrace and the wall in order to support the new structure there.

The Supporters Trust have approached the club for clarity on the issue of ground improvements - there'll be a statement tomorrow.

Not necessarily related to the ground works but JE has tweeted "great day at Wakefield today positive investments on its way and some new sponsors to boot"

As The Clan has said nothing ominous.

Its been mentioned on here previously that there are some issues as a result of the requirements of SKY for televising games which have to be addressed. The Club will make a Statement to clarify the postion and it is hoped that Statement will be made tomorrow provided the issues with SKY have been resolved.

It's nothing sinister and no reason for anyone to panic.

My cousin is working at the ground, he keeps filling me in, just yesterday AG asked him if he can drive a forklift and can he make a good cuppa. My cousin said 'crikey how big is your teapot?'

I think Bren jumped the gun a little tbh. The club 'hoped' to have something out today, but they will only do so when they have all the details sorted.

Today was the media day at BV and would probably be a busy day for all.

I'm sure there'll be something soon.

I just find it a bit concerning the message that this sends out to the rest of the RL community . You can hear it now - "here go Wakefield making promises that they're not keeping again " .
Lets hope something gets started asap .

Either way, the explanation is perfectly plausible and looks like it was outside the club's control - I'm sure the statement will clarify everything.

Media day was it - I wonder where they got that idea from?

Let's hope it has some impact - the press we've had for the lasy few seasons has felt almost relentlessly negative - it would be nice to go into this season with some of the optimism that's around the club being reflected in the media.

All clubs hold a media day before the season starts - always have done!

I know - I ranted and raved about it last season before realising the very same.

There is a Fans Forum on Tuesday 31st January and I suspect the Club will have more to say on the matter then.

As I've said earlier, nothing sinister, just matters to resolve with SKY.
