Interesting comment on his twitter, wakey fan says to him hes the best signing so far. He replys " pretty sure there'll be better ones coming soon...."

If he is then so be it. Whoever it is deserves the chance to work with the players then lets see how the results unfold next year. Just as with the players we will have been at the back of the queue when we new we needed to recruit a super league coach. Think it will take a while for the pot half empty syndrome to disappear with a few on here. Whatever and whoever it is it can't be as bad as the last couple of years. If Agar is the coach then why bother drawing up a short list and interviewing coaches.

i carnt believe we havent got a coach that isnt aware of these signings tbh, i know je knows his stuff but surely a new coach would want to bring his own signings in not have a team already there when he arrives!! mellors is a good signing inmho and not unhappy at others either now time to reveal coach and get half backs sorted out i hope

Remember the furore when Atkins was in a Warrington shirt while still on our books? Don't like it really, but it seems to be the done thing now.

I was told a while ago that 2 marquee signings had already been made but no names until season was over for their current clubs.

Some pretty vociferous denials from Agar himself and their new owner in todays press; seems unlikely.

Sounds like one is Lautiti. Not heard any other names to be stongley linked with us who would be classed as marquee signings.

Catch 22 really. We've already started behing the 8 ball, waiting for another couple of weeks for a new coach may make it even worse.

once again statement of intent by the club well done. More players will follow as we have made our intent early. Its something we had to do and we have done it.This could be the most exciting off season for a long long time. Is the catch Richard Agar lol? Sammuit and Mellers were crusaders main men good signing.

Hopefully this can rule out Keith Senior as our centre for next season, don`t get me wrong I think that a fit Senior would be an advantage to any of the teams outside the top 8, but with rumours about him needing more operations Vince Mellor looks a lot better proposition. Welcome aboard sir !

I really don't get Trinity fans. We sign a second rate NZ and some on here immediately want to play him ahead of Luke George one of the most talented up and coming young British centres in the game. This after bleating on about Kear not playing our young players. It should be Me;;ors who is back up - do we never learn.

Another up and coming young British player, you must be delighted. Who do you want to bin to give this guy a spoy, you've already done George so may I suggest Marriano.

I mean after winning just about everything at top clubs he must really view us as a step up. His motivation is beyond reproach.

George has been up and coming for 2 full seasons and failed through injuries and whatever other reasons to kick on.

He has had one maybe two good games where he has really put himself about and looked good this year.

For me he can go or stay I'm not overly bothered.

Hopefully the club will get the mix right of overseas and Uk based players for 2012.
