| Quote ="The Avenger"So someone who has to work at every opportunity to keep the Wolf from the door and who can’t rely on every game being staged as per the fixture list should make the “choice” to cancel a shift in order to go to the game? Equally there are many people who don’t have security of employment and therefore can’t speculate with the money they have, again, that doesn’t make them less of a supporter than a season ticket holder.
If only we lived in a country where everyone had secure employment and a decent level of disposable income eh?'"
No its much simpler than that - they have the choice to go with Commit 6 or buy individual tickets....
It also benefits the club as they are getting regular income.
You said about fans buying a ticket for [ievery[/i home game... So what is the difference?
Also, I didn't mention anything about being "less" of a supporter - I was one of those who bought a ticket every week - so why bring that up?

| Some of you seem to have strange tints to your glasses. Just to recap, the people responsible for the shambles that has us 11 from 11 defeats, are charging £10 for pie and peas? Have I missed something? Hopefully, they will have someone there who will take over the clubs social media profile that can save lots of time, energy and create more trust.

Yes, definitely missed something. If you want pie and peas only go to the pie shop in wakey.

| I feel very sorry for you PT. Maybe get out more and talk to young people.
My support of sixty years plus hasn’t clouded my vision. A complete on the cheap was made hoping for safety, and now that it’s doubtful, ten quid for pie and peas is needed! If you don’t think a social media platform giving information to supporters is a good idea for avoiding frustration, then you have been absent to modern life for a few years. Perhaps you would prefer mucky fat sandwiches.

I bow to your young person knowledge of social media.
I'm not really sure what your point is as you randomly switch mid sentence but I think you are saying that they could put some answers out on social media (like the club Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) instead of the fans forum where some have to pay?
Well to a certain extent I agree, however, on this forum, quite a few say they don't do those accounts, and the point of the forum is, I think, to allow you to ask your own questions and hear the answers face to face from the people responsible rather than a faceless social media account.

I really don't fully understand your gripe. You've been supporting/following the club for at least 10 years (looking at your profile pic) and in that time we must have had many Fans Forums where everyone has had to pay up at least £5. It's never been a true fundraiser but the 100x £5 has paid for a token supper and covered overheads with possibly a bit to spare. Every little helps. Never a complaint from a soul as far as I can recall.
This time it's FREE for season ticket holders and the vast majority of the allocated places are usually filled by that group. The club will possibly lose money. Maybe we need to organise a raffle?
In a short while there will probably be a meeting where only those who've paid in £500 minimum are invited. That will probably get less stick.

If you recall, there were plenty moaning about "why don't we get to hear what the shareholders were told first", and "why can't I go to the shareholders meeting", what's so special about them"...

| Yes, this is the first time in many years we haven’t bought tickets as explained. My wife cannot stand for 80 minutes, the seats under the flats are a crap view and you tend to get soaked when it rains(not from beer as there hasn’t been a moment to warrant it) we will pay to sit down when seats are available in the new stand. We may watch from inside the bar again. Hope that’s clear.
It’s a fairly simple point. The situation we are in is self inflicted, it’s not the RFL, Child or Kendall’s fault. It may be an easier ride with season ticket holders but asking supporters to pay £10 is poor and looks just like another fundraiser , in MY opinion, and will probably lower bar sales. I think fans deserve better reward for loyalty after what has been endured and said. Rank bad management has reaped its own reward.

Well I agree with you on the first bit mate. We bought our stand tickets again this season and I have used those seats under the flats twice. They are absolute rubbish for the reasons you outlined. Luckily we can stand and find somewhere on the terrace.

Of course it's a fundraiser! What's wrong with that?
It's also a reward for those who committed to a season ticket. What's wrong with that as well?
Nothing.

We have seating season tickets and they aren’t great. We tried to enter the northstand but told we couldn’t stand and had to sit down. Shame really but only reason I bought the seated this year is so we could pick our seats in new stand.

| Yeah the seats under flats not ideal , but prepared to put up with it until we can take our seats in new stand.
Suppose I should moan. Seems to be very fashionable.

Yes North Stand upper is out of bounds for us seated plebs. It's a case of stand where you can because the view of the game from those seats is terrible unless you are lucky enough to get on the front row.
Mind you a poor view has been a blessing so far this season

It was the lower I tried to get in but they said the only place they’ll accept seated tickets is for seating. Not allowed to stand even on lower north which is a shame.

Well I have stood there on every home match this season, no problem. I even got in through the North end turnstiles with my ticket. Tried upper level but always knocked back from there

| What flavour pie, what make and 'ow big? Peas; mushy, black or garden and, if one of the latter brace, 'ow many (exactly)? Manuel should know before he parts with his ill-earned - especially as this thread has left nothing to discuss at the forum. That is unless he wishes to ask some questions hereon for attenders to pose in his grumpy stead and report the answers back - tenner a pop.
