Still no Battye or Wood, two players we are missing badly imho.

I know it sounds depressing but I can’t even get excited by the squad announcement anymore. I used to love it when the squad got announced and picking the 17 in my head. I just feel like we are going to play the same way whoever is in. Nice to see Jowitt back though.

Dare we play Rocky in the 17 if Max is fit .Would love to see him at 6,7 ,or 9 with Miller and Lino in the team . Know if will not happen ,but what we got to lose

heard the next draw for the quarter finals will be done at half time, surely that can't be right as a team might throw the game as they might not like who'd they face next

I`d be tempted to put him on the bench and ask either Crowther or Wood to do the 80 at 9, not only can he cover 9 if it doesn't work out but he can play anywhere in the backs to a decent level.

Thought b walker may of got a game this week.the few times he as played he gone really well.

Bit different nowadays from when I worked down the pit and it was full on all week getting stick from hoards of Cas and Fev fans .We even used to get out early if one of the teams was playing the other ,how times have changed .To be honest never had the slightest interest in football so rugby has been my sporting passion with four generations stood on the terraces over the years sadly now down to three.I know the cats game for some is neither here or there in the big scheme ,but I still dream of Wakey running out At Wembley, every time the cup comes around ever since I was stood with my dad in 79 .Suppose the challenge cup is more an old farts thing compared to the grand final ,but I know which I’d love to see more than owt, and it wouldn’t be old Trafford .

It’s A Walker with the back problem I think. B Walker is fit and should be playing imo.

Thought it was just me ! Part of problem is we have too many similar players some are better in one area or another - typical being second row - batchelor Pitts crowther ashurst all decent professionals but can any one really get exited about which are in or out - same at fb jowitt Hampshire walker who really thinks having one or the other makes a massive difference -

Having said that still looking forward the the game - last game weekend before we can have a real beer
