The push appears to be now silver and bronze memberships, which is still members and so looks better for future franchise purposes.

Your ST numbers may increase when the younger fans buy theirs.
At something like £35 they tend to be bought almost at the season's start.
It often occurs that their parent make be a walk up supporter but at £35 or so for their child it's cost effective to have a ST rather than pay on the day.

This is all about hitting a target and getting some new faces down at BV and it looks like we'll do both.
A fantastic effort all round and if each week the ground has 4000 members, plus walk in support (both home and away) the place should be rocking).

It was £10 off the shirt for the first month of sales or something wasn't it?

Was told that they will be in the Ridings shop Thursday 6pm when I picked up my Gold Membership (with it's nice ne badge on the cover) today.

They are launching it with players and dolls modelling them on Thursday.

Before end of August £10 off a shirt, got that got the free MOT and all the games for £100 now thats top value.

Collected our STs today staff said 3800 STs have been sold....shop busy had to order some items because they had sold out

just 3800 tells me everything I already knew about the Wakefield public and Wakefield Trinity what does the club have to do give them away? what is wrong with folk in Wakefield do they want a club or not? 3800 is poor very poor

3,800 is fantastic. Get a grip!

That's bonkers - given where we started from and the fact that previous regimes had alienated so many people, a 300%+ increase is a fantastic start.

By the time the season kicks off, we'll have sold over 4,000 ST's - that, to me, is an excellent achievement; with a bit of good news on the NM front and some success on the pitch during 2012, that figure could easily double for the following season.

Can't see how you can say that at all tbh, considering where we just came from and the season we just had that is a impressive number. We know we have a knew guy in charge who appears to be taking us in the right direction but it will take more than that to get more of the floating fans in.
I think the club have done a tremendous job of getting over 3800 season tickets, that's unheard of at Trinity ever and with a bit of success on the pitch this year along with the good off field work and good news on the stadium, we'll be in a great place imo.

The club has never managed more than 2,500 IIRC.

This is a great achievement, but only as part of a larger strategy to close the gap on some of the stronger clubs.

While 3800 might seem like a poor showing for a season ticket so cheap it paves the way for the future, its not like we had a massive following to each home game

a big improvement has to start somewhere and I hope the next few season keeps the increase going.

Regarding the posting of season tickets, I phoned up today to see when I'd get mine (I live in Barnsley) and they said 'they should be out before the start of the season' I bloody hope they are!


Sounded unlikely that they would be posted out before Christmas though so if you are expecting it to drop through your letterbox in time for the big red man to wrap it up you might want to give them a call. He advised me to pop in to the store (which isn't a problem anyway as I want a shirt).

I would say 3,800 is an excellent number thus far, especially when you hear stories from other clubs who aren't yet close to a 1,000. We are rebuilding and gathering momentum and I reckon as Bren 2K does that it could double if we really do the business on the field. Everyone is buzzing right now and we all know we have a nucleus of supporters who will go year in year out regardless of results cos we love the club. It's the part timers and newbies we have to get on board now in Wakefield and indeed other areas, the time is now.

3800 is a good figure before Xmas.

All that's left is to promote the shirt for xmas and get more of them off the shelves.

The on field performance of the team this year will have the most affect on what ST sales we reach for 2012 with Newmarket another big factor.

Next year will hopefully see wakefield trinity break the 5000 ST barrier.

A step in the right direction but after Xmas it's all about the players and coach.
