After hearing ''a bit'' yesterday looks pretty much nailed on that Jay is off tho the Broughton deal was not mentioned ??

I'd be disappointed to see Jay move to the rhinos as I genuinely believe he has a big future. I think his natural tendency to play football has been a little bit stifled and as a result we haven't seen the best of him and he hasn't shown just how much he has to offer over and above the average second row prospect.

Maybe he sees a move to Leeds as a chance to play his more natural game and maybe he himself is a little disappointed at not being able to develop his handling ability whilst with Wakefield. I remember him trying to offload inside our own half last season and he cost us possession when we desperately needed to relieve some pressure on our defence. Maybe that sort of incident has led to his offload game being curtailed.

On the other side of the coin if we do get Broughton plus cash in exchange I would be extremely excited about the prospect of seeing him in partnership with Ryan Atkins.

I would love to see us secure the services of Ben Jones Bishop as well maybe we could float that idea rather than receiving a cash adjustment. A backline which contained Blaymire, Blanch, Jones Bishop, Atkins and Broughton would be pretty special, very pacey, very young and almost all English.

Not a prayer IMO, I'd love him to have a season on loan at Wakefield if that was part of any deal but he is definately IMO our long term succesor to Brent Webb...

Agree with the rest of the post, but as good as Atkins is in other ways, the only relationship I see him having is one of frustration from the winger's point of view. He's hardly the king of service out wide.

Broughton looked out of his depth tonight against the Whinos.

He offered Yeaman very little in support play,ran bad angles and was suspect in defence.

Not impressed on this outing reminded me of Bucannan. Too lightweight.

Agreed tonight he was poor but could it be a "one off" "bad day at the office" ive seen him play well would probably have to hear more off the fc fans or see him on more occasions

I would be gutted if we lost one of the games big prospects to Leeds I rate young Pitts very highly a future England prop for years to come he will get better and better over the next 5-6 seasons if he dose go I hope to hell we get good money and a sell on fee if he leaves Leeds
As for Jody Broughton if this kid was good enough he would be at Leeds this season and next looked very ordinary last night a winger for a bloody good young forward no thank you now Luke Burgess that would be the deal
