Not really a delay just normal visa process

When it comes down to Trinity and visas there is always a delay!
Seems strange that Shudders annd Widnes recently got players signed and over here in days plus countless other examples in recent years.
What is the delay-anyone have a rational answer?

Maybe it's taken Hudds and Widnes just as long, and they've kept it quiet till it was a done deal, just a thought.

I would point out he is Tongan therefore the visa should not be related to his NRL appearances.

Years ago Trin were looking at some South Sea Islander and Wigan got wind of it and had all the paperwork filled in and he was in the squad before we knew he had been poached. Yep, it was something along those lines.
We couldn't sign him because of 'X' problem but Wigan signed him without a problem.

The Wigan player with hep B was Jerry Seu Seu

I think after Pongia played a season with Wigan, it was revealed he had hepatitis B.
Thus curtailing his stay in England.

Been comparing his size to the rest of our players on Wiki. He is a stone and half heavier than England, currently our biggest prop.

For me initally may be good to use as impact off the bench with England and Simon starting

Think Chester will stick with Scruton and England as starting props with Fafita, Arona and Simon off the bench...

I don't think any team would be able to steam role us with all that size. We should be rolling over them

From the bits of fafita I've seen he will generate us more offloads too. Down side might be work rate in defence. Which is something nick scrouton and arona excel at and should balance the defend attack ratio. Though he may be a complete package in sl
Just hope this visa issue sorted SAP so we can start playing him

Quite a good side that.

My only downer to it would be Bill Tupou lacks a pasing game which is something needed as a good centre.

I would swap that round with Hall in centre and Tupou or BJb wing

Maybe its something tupou will get with more game time. Hall is a liability in defence atleast on the wing he is not as vulnerable.

It looks a very good side just need Fifita to sign for 2 years & provide that additional size and impact from the bench..if Trinity sign Keegan Hirst next season Trinity will have one of the biggest packs in SL.

I dont have the stats but, we haven't looked "bigger" than any of our SL opposition this season.
Hull, Catalan, Warrington, Saints, KR even Cas & Widnes appeared "bigger" than us

Would probably have Tupou in the centre when defending and Hall switch to centre when attacking, Hall knows when to pass a ball.

Having England, Fafita and Hirst in the 17 next season would change that....
