Just heard him interviewed on Radio Leeds sports programme. He sounded enthusiastic to be at Wakefield. He said Daryl Millard had rung him to say we needed a prop now Tronc had gone back to Aus. Had come over with his wife and 9 week old baby. Said it seemed sunny, but a bit on the cold side. Also that he was a hard go-forward player, but not dirty.

This may come as a surprise to Rhinos fans, but the game isn't always about playing dead after a slightly late hit (Danny McGuire) or constantly whining to the ref (JJB, Diskin, Sinfield, and numerous others), but is sometimes as simple as a big guy running at another big guy.

Charlie has done one thing, and that is sounding pleased to be at Wakey, and that will do for me.
