In terms of attending matches people who don’t have season tickets yet attend every home game actually pay more into the club than season ticket holders do. Just because someone can’t commit to such a big sum of money and must pay as they go or doesn’t know their availability for each home game, it doesn’t make them a less deserving supporter!

Agree, perhaps a £5 charge for everyone would have been a better idea. I’m a season ticket holder and don’t mind contributing.

Season Ticket money is in the coffers early doors allowing the club to forward plan.
When the club are struggling the money from ST holders is locked in whereas those not committed can stay away as many on here have professed to do so already.

Season Ticket sales need to increase so any perk, no matter how small, is good business.

And also, they know who the season ticket holders are.
They don't know who the pay every week people are. So can't give them freebies.

Disagree, good touch by the club allowing season ticket holders in for free. There has to be rewards to encourage season ticket sales, as with every club season ticket sales are so important to the club. Hoping for a good fans forum and even some good news, you never know.

I would be surprised if the room isn't full as usual with the die hard season ticket holders. I would happily have paid £10 had it been required but will accept the charity btw.
I think many of the gobs are relieved to have the fee as an excuse not to attend after weeks of begging for just such an opportunity.

You can pay £26 per month - not much more than a match ticket - and get a season ticket via the Commit 6 - So if you are going to attend every home game as you suggest - then why not do that??
if they don't know their "availability" for every game, then that's the choice they have to make....

I understand the reasons why the club wants the money committed but that doesn’t justify marginalising those who are equally committed supporters but don’t enjoy the personal circumstances that allow others to buy a season ticket.

Are you suggesting that all non season ticket holders are less committed to attending every home (& away) game than those who can buy a season ticket?

So someone who has to work at every opportunity to keep the Wolf from the door and who can’t rely on every game being staged as per the fixture list should make the “choice” to cancel a shift in order to go to the game? Equally there are many people who don’t have security of employment and therefore can’t speculate with the money they have, again, that doesn’t make them less of a supporter than a season ticket holder.

If only we lived in a country where everyone had secure employment and a decent level of disposable income eh?

I'm suggesting that Season Ticket holders, paying up pre season, are essential to any club at any level and always has been. This reason is the only reason I personally need. The club has to entice other potential ST purchasers with perks such as freebies and discounts. Getting priority access into a Fans Forum is a minor freebie.

To be fair the pie and peas are worth a tenner alone.

All I'm hoping for is a bit of positivity and several plans put in place that gives us every possibility to get us out of this mess.

Have I missed something? Hopefully, they will have someone there who will take over the clubs social media profile that can save lots of time, energy and create more trust.

My support of sixty years plus hasn’t clouded my vision. A complete on the cheap was made hoping for safety, and now that it’s doubtful, ten quid for pie and peas is needed! If you don’t think a social media platform giving information to supporters is a good idea for avoiding frustration, then you have been absent to modern life for a few years. I'm not really sure what your point is as you randomly switch mid sentence but I think you are saying that they could put some answers out on social media (like the club Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) instead of the fans forum where some have to pay?

Well to a certain extent I agree, however, on this forum, quite a few say they don't do those accounts, and the point of the forum is, I think, to allow you to ask your own questions and hear the answers face to face from the people responsible rather than a faceless social media account.

I really don't fully understand your gripe. You've been supporting/following the club for at least 10 years (looking at your profile pic) and in that time we must have had many Fans Forums where everyone has had to pay up at least £5. It's never been a true fundraiser but the 100x £5 has paid for a token supper and covered overheads with possibly a bit to spare. Every little helps. Never a complaint from a soul as far as I can recall.
This time it's FREE for season ticket holders and the vast majority of the allocated places are usually filled by that group. The club will possibly lose money. Maybe we need to organise a raffle?

In a short while there will probably be a meeting where only those who've paid in £500 minimum are invited. That will probably get less stick.
