| We need to start building soon. I do believe it will be completed but I'm surprised it's delayed this much. Get it sorted.

Can't wait for the season to kick off. I deliberately dont go to friendlies so te 1st game of the season is something to really look forward to... apart from geting to Widnes on a Friday night. Fingers crossed the guys comethrough the Batley game with no bumps and bruises and we can go into the season opener in annihilation mode

It'll be hard to defend those comments if we don't crack on, won't it.

| I though Sky had already had their say ages ago which is why the whole of the west side wasn't now getting covered? Surely the prices will have been adjusted accordingly by now. AG said last week on twitter it was something to do with the building regulations that was causing the hold up, now he says its to do with prices? Which is it? The sceptics will be out in force and to be honest with our history, who can blame them. We are giving the impression we are playing for time, waiting for the PI result. We seriously need to get on with this sharpish and keep our promises.

| I can't see any cause for alarm; something structural has had to be changed due to loading restrictions from Sky - that's meant that the price and spec has changed and that in turn has meant that the building reg's will have to be done again. Doesn't that sound more likely than a sudden and publicly unfolding U-turn from AG?
It's a big project with public safety implications, not a new shed; these things happen all the time.

Far too logical, we prefer it to be more cloak and dagger round these parts.

Fully understand, but the decision to not put in for planning earlier and subsequently start the works earlier in the off season now looks to be a bit daft. Always thought it was a tight programme which didn't allow for any delay whatsoever. In reality the club have had five months to sort this so to be still ironing out snags isn't great. Still, hope they're up before March.

| Given the latest act of corruption from the RFL, if I were AG I'd tell the RFL to stick their ground improvements up their ar5es; if they want them done, they can foot the bill.

I'm sure the club will have a reasonable explanation, but this will look bad on us. What baffles me are the comments suggesting we were starting on one Monday, then delayed until the following week - how could that be if we didn't have the price agreed?
As I say, I'm sure there is a good reason for it, but I think the club need to make that clear for their own benefit!

| So if there is a 'change' regarding the West terrace as a consequence of Sky dithering, why can't the North bank be done first?

| Whatever the reasons, the mixed messages given out by the club are in my opinion bound to create a number of valid questions from various sources, which regardless of whats gone on at Bradford require some pretty good answers.
As has already been said, the planning application and other necessary admin work should have been done much earlier then they were, and if it was in our franchise application that this work would be done, then all work should be done including the seating in front of the flats (full costings were presumably required to go into the franchise and would surely have been obtained at the time). Anything short of what we said we would do, amounts to yet another broken promise as far as the rest of the RL world are concerned.
The work should be completed for the first home game as well. If this doesn't happen, then this is another downfall in the clubs handling of the situation.
This is for me the first real test of the new regime, as everything else they have said they will do has been done - but most of the other changes were fairly cosmetic and relatively inexpensive, whereas these ground improvements are the first serious expenditure (other than the increase in salary cap spend).

I admire your optimism but I don't think there's a cat in hells chance of any stands being in place in time for the first home game!
I don't doubt they will happen but not as soon as that.

A cynical person would say they are being delayed until the result of the PI. If its positive then no need to start the project. Then again who are we to doubt Glover, no broken promises so far.

And if its negative then our future is in the lower leagues and as such there is no need for the work to be carried out.

| It may be to do with the bearing capacity of the fill beneath the slab terrace at the north end.
Filled in Trial Holes were evident in places at the back of the terrace and along the central pathway where the supports for the roof will be.
The results of these tests may be what AG/JE mean by structural engineers getting involved again more than likely resulting in extra time and above all money.
Best team won on Sunday!

| I thought that the western terrace stand was to be ready for HKR game and north stand for RFL BULLS game. Hopefully we will get the nod for Newmarket in the next few months get a definite timescale for the build and we might get away with the expense of putting up temp stands, waste of money for 1.5 seasons money that could be spent elsewhere. If I were to be thinking cynically if the unthinkable happens and the PI doesn't go our way we'll buy back B V and will be building permanent stands so no need for temp ones
