Not on the form i have mate, it says "supercash donating funds to sport for kids in Wakefield" it does not mention any club.

| This may or may not put some meat on the bones.
the lottery was originally called Trinity Line and I believe the proceeds went the club.
Stuart Farrar was a previous director of the club, I believe the the lottery became super cash and to all intents and purpose the lottery was run from BV, I thought it was the club lottery that also administered other clubs lotteries for them also. Looking on the board here it seems the TOR may have changed at some point. Their office was in the flats at BV so I assume there has previously been a rental arrangement. I was a member for years paying by DD, my father in law paid weekly but the collectors were intermittent so we packed it in.
Not sure of the current status other than whats on here.

| A few years ago i was a agent for Trinity Line, collecting appox £25 pw from work colleges family & friends.
On one occasion on taking the money into the Trinty Line office,i asked if any accounts of the moneys were available,my request was met with the following reply "we are under no obligation to show you any accounts" I never collected again!.
This just shows how little respect they showed & how secretive they were.

| I worked for WMDC for many years and when the lottery commenced I opted to pay directly from my pay on a monthly basis. About four months after I retired I won first prize (My second); the Council had omitted to cancel my membership. I tapped on the window with a five pound note to inform them of their error but they chose to ignore me. As far as I know they are still paying.
regards

| when I lost my job last year we stopped paying then and only since then has it come to light, we had a idea when we noticed Wakefield Trinity's name was on the leaflet with the winners on that some thing wasn't right,
if I hadn't lost my job i could of been still paying now
can any one tell me how long it has stopped donating to Trinity as I'm sure we haven't been doing it that long maybe two years at the most

| This statement was put on the club's website a couple of days ago:
Important Lottery Notice
The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have been made aware that a number of people are still paying into the old ‘SuperCash’ lottery that is still operating under the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats name.
The new regime at The Club doesn’t currently operate a lottery, therefore any lotteries claiming to be operating under the Club’s name are misleading supporters. Money that is still being paid into the old lottery will no longer be benefitting the club at all, therefore we advise that anyone who was contributing to the lottery for this reason should either cancel their payments or contact the lottery company.
The Club is currently in the process of setting up their own Wakefield Trinity Wildcats lottery and fans will be provided with further information as soon as this is up and running.
General Manager Davide Longo commented, “It has been brought to my attention that people are using Wakefield Trinity Wildcats to promote lotteries across the District. We are not in any affiliation with these companies and the money is certainly not benefitting the club in any way.”

| Quote ="mwildcats"Sorry Snowie, I stopped when I read that.
Pie in the sky idea... we wouldnt sell 1000, nor would we have we ever sold 500.. so expecting 2000 per week is laughable. It really is.
Too many fundraisers within the ground would imo feel someone's taking the proverbial.:
- Supporters Trust
- Squadbuilder
- Gold Silver Bronze memberships
- Wisca membership
- Cards with (Home & Away Try Scores)
- Half Time Draw
- Lottery
- Programes
God knows what else there is.'" Quote ="snowie"what I would like to suggest to the club is that they set up their own very similar to the way the WMC used to.
bare with me just an idea
while it may only be a small amount to win in return it could bring in coffers in other directions.
lets say we sold £2000 weekly which is half of the hard core support and we took £200 as the prize money, that could be doubled for being a season ticket holder and then doubled again if you in the stadium for the draw on the day of the game
that's £800 for just coming to watch your club.
What this does is opens up the thoughts of being a season ticket holder or even just coming to watch the game you can benefit.
It will be little profit to the club in lottery but could prove to be a winner'"

well reading this statement the club don't think so, if its done properly they could tap into the fans that left years and try and convert them to the old game or two, who's to say that they don't give them an incentive to join by giving a free ticket to a game, £1 weekly done by standing /direct debt wouldn't break the bank would it
