Should the latest alleged actions by your gang of three regarding Newmarket be correct then I can only describe it as an act of treachury against the thousands of fans of Wakefield Trinity (the club that you were once supposedly proud to be chairman of) and the 80,000 citizens of this city (that you also were supposedly proud to be associated with. Take your thirty pieces of silver and put it with your stash of millions on the Isle of Man or wherever. Taking candy from a baby is the expression, I believe.
I would suggest, if true, then you be stripped of any civic honours that have been bestowed upon you, but there again your friend SIR Peter Box is not likely to do that is he? I was always warned not to trust anyone who had a sir or lord before his name and it would appear to be sound advice.

Your greed and guile in this long sordid saga would be in direct contrast to the honesty, integrity and humility of Messrs Michael Carter, Chris Brereton et al. To deny the City of Wakefield a community stadium because of any personal greed would be an act of what used to be termed "The unacceptable face of capitalism".

I was once proud to have known you, Rodney, but am now ashamed of any previous association.

I would rather see the stadium built and rot than see you or your ilk make any personal gain from the venture.

I would urge Michael Carter not to sever his ties with the club, but to stand and fight for what is right.

We all know who Yorkcourt's trojan horse was now. I'm gutted by it all now. So many people have done so much through nothing other than a love for Trinity, with no expectation of bettering themselves but acting out of a desire to see the club succeed, with some putting their own financial health at risk in turning the club around, and it all seems to be floundering due to the actions of the few.

I really thought something was in the pipeline, that perhaps this was nothing more than a personality clash and that people were still moving towards broadly the same goals. I had faith in human nature. Unfortunately, I forgot why some people end up in positions of power and the ordinary person doesn't.

It is an absolute disgrace.

Well walker is starting to look like a tired old bloater. He will be long gone before most of the current fans on here and the way he is behaving his legacy to Wakefield will have has much respect as the legacy Saville left behind.

However we should not forget the people in power who over the years have helped facilitate his pompous rise. The people behind his freedom of the City award and his knighthood. The top of the list in these is Peter Box and his political friends. To call them Labour would be an insult to people like Redscat and good honest labour folk.

Last but not least I would be extremely interested in knowing who are the other trust members in Walkers gang. He will not register his trust in fear of naming them.

Received correspondence from Sir Rodney saying how he is committed to getting the stadium built but has come up against various ongoing problems. His Trust application is now with the Charity Commission awaiting approval. The membership of the Trust are all to quote "highly reputable figures"

He is just an overweight and very old sad individual. Make as much stress as you can for him, make life as difficult as possible. The greedy slob will either realise he is too old and frail for the fight or nature will take it course and he will no longer be the problem.

Quite a lot in these circumstances. Last time I saw him he did not look a fit individual and he is carrying a lot of excess weight. The guy is now 74yrs old. He is supposed to be a very wealthy man, so why is he willing to go through all the grief that he could be bringing on himself. He needs to ask himself 'Do I really need this at my time of life, or should I just let it go and move on'

Are you sure you used the word because you are so concerned about his health? I would suggest , in your anger and frustration, it was used in a derogatory sense. Totally unnecessary to bring in anyone's physical appearance .No way am I defending Walker, just generally object to the use of a person's physical appearance when making reference to their character.
