There is something to be said for a former player taking up the reigns, especially a hardnut like Radford; McDermott, Wane and Anderson all seem to command respect from their players and don't seem to be plagued by shirking and pat-a-cake tackling. It could also be argued that they think like a player and keep things simple - as opposed to over-analysing the game, which seems to be part of our problem.

Totally agree Tigerade and I eckon Morrison has more going on than Radford...and cannot do worse tha Agar...I would back myself against him not that I claim RL genius.

Won't shoot you down for an opinion but Paul Cooke...not for me. An ill disciplined player. He let us down as a player. I have no confidence he would ever have the ight kind of stuff to be a leader. He was trouble as a player. No thanks

Think one of Agars problems could be he acts more like a mate than a coach and that's why all those who have played for him think hes a good coach.

Cooke seems to be doing a decent job at Donny like Morrison at Dewanury. Perhaps we should take a punt on one of these two and let Agar rot in the lower leagues like he deserves.

I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that nothing will change whilst we are in the position that we are.

On what basis do you believe Morrison will provide the answers. His coaching experience is limited at best but I guess you would accept a trained chimp in place of Agar. I note that the Bradford forum do not have the same belief as you because he is not even mentioned as a possible replacement.

I base it on speculation.
Don't think Morrison would be the answer this season.
If Bradford go down, they will restructure correctly and be in a better state than now when they come back up.
Where as we will still be stumbling along with the same excuses.
Don't think the chimp is daft enough to take the job on but could employ him as a motivational guru!

All of those are no nonsense hard forwards and they certainly wont take any cr@p from any of their players.
I don't see us changing Agar unless pretty much all of the fans stop going to home games (like the Cas fans did over Milward).
Until that happens, we're stuck with RA and we could still end up getting another Peter Roe or Casper Smith as we are unlikely to entice a proven SL standard coach.

I doubt it probably more interested how Castleford are doing but speaking for myself I am just bored of the constant speculation by so called experts. If I was involved with the club I would stay clear of reading the forum which they probably do because at best those who write on here may be some of the more dedicated followers but represent only about 5% of the supporters. I believe some take these opportunities to voice their prejudices against not only the coaching staff but players as well.

A lot more than 5% walked out early doors at our last couple of home games so you could argue only 5% of supporters think Agar is a good coach.End of day we all have a view on whats going on and whos right or wrong but when the coach sticks Mathers on the wing the evidence in this case is rather one sided My Lord.

As for Leigh,they can apparently afford Super League players that some Super League clubs cannot afford.I'm certain they signed an ex-Wakey player recently - to add to their haul of ex-Super League players.

Ollie Wilkes has gone to them feel we miss his style at times nothing fancy just take it in direct.

Can we please revert to Mathers at full back and Sammut and Godinet as the halves. It was working dammit. Stop messing and rotating players before its too late this season. (I can already hear the anti-Mathers brigade assembling).
