Are the players that are leaving ones that perhaps were contracted for 2012? Maybe the administrator is preempting the franchise decision for the 2012 season onwards. Could be a case that some of the players remain with us on loan until the 2012 season. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

I do have alot of sympathy for you. I have followed Huddersfiedl for 33 years and know what it is like to be at rock bottom.

My comments about Fergy were in response to comments about whether he would be a good signing. I think he would be. I would prefer it if it was not happening this way but it is.

I do not know what is going on at Wakefield but posters who know more than i are suggesting your players are being touted around by the administartors for finacial reasons, that players are being told to go to help wakefield, players do not want to go but are being pushed. IF that is true then you cannot balme other clubs for picking up quality players.

I am sad at seeing the demise of wakefield as one of the founding clubs. I love and are proud about our joint RL history. My hope is that you can come back from this stronger than before.

Im sure Shuddersfield have simple asked Broughy who is worth taking the risk with, and he has highlighted two young British players who have a future in the game. If they can grab them off us on the cheap, again, can you really argue with their decision ?

A number of points trouble me (as an impartial observer)

1) How much research did Glover carry out before making his bid ?
Surely enough to justify his investment given that he is not a lifeling rugby league fan but a succcesful businessman.

2) How much information did the administrators withhold from Mr Glover ?
NONE. Legally they are obliged to present a warts n all picture of the company they are administrating?

3) Assuming points 1&2 are correct what prompted Mr Glovers "No players for sale" comments on Friday ?

No one is arguing its the past managements fault we have ended up in the position we are. The problem is that we do not seem to be treated the same as Crusaders were. I repeat other than Hauraki who else did they have to sell whilst in admin? Answer no-one.

You can't tell me had the administrators made the likes of sammut, witt and withers available clubs would not have been interested. Oh and it was the same administrators and HMRC got shafted - the same HMRC who are now our biggest creditor and are no doubt the ones that players are being sold to appease.

TOTALLY agree Tricky - its the way Crusaders and Trinity have been so differently treated -. The RFL should hang their heads in shame!! I do not know if you can compare the situation with hauraki as it was rumoured the Giants offered £50 K and he went to Leeds for a lot more than that.

I would doubt that any of the Wakefield players being signed are going for anywhere near that.
