Absolute diabolical performance , I can't believe professional players can play like that. We gave them so many tries it was embarrassing !! We we're defending ok then we start throwing 20 metre passes across our own line! It just got worse and worse and even worse after that!! So disappointed these players didn't play even half decent in the game for the supporters...

Defence doesn't matter when your senior players come up with absolute brain farts which lead to 26 points worth of stroll in tries. Still it seemed Webster thought Wildie was the better option at hooker, isn't that how it usually goes when people question the team selection?!

I wouldn't over analyse today, I'm as disappointed as any Wakefield fan but the key for me is in how we prepare for next season. Recruitment looks to be going well and I'm sure Webbo will have them upto speed for the start of 2015 season.

Overall, we did what we needed to and stayed up after a terrible start, now lets build on it

Whilst we made some howlers that led to tries, equally concerning was the lack of doing the fundamental basics of the game right. Zero aggression and very few seemingly willing to take the ball into contact. No pace in anything we did and some poor handling skills.

If so when we became safe in the league was he told dont play and spend some bonding time to keep him healthy for preseason plus he gets to spend some time with the newborn which is Very important. Just guessing as not aware of any facts.

Embarrassing effort. The players looked like they were already on holiday , it was a relief when it was finished. Thankfully Hull KR also put the cue in the rack after an hour otherwise it would have got really nasty. Finishing the season as we have won't help the season ticket sales.

Why would I think that the points' scored against us had anything to do with Wildie his defence was no different to the rest today it offered nothing as did the rest of his play, whereby as you say Sammut could not have done any worse than he did.

A player with a decent passing and kicking game, who always looks to be on the end of a midfield half chance if the pass can be made.
Going off what Eden can do from fullback, would stick Sammut there next season.

Well said. Unfortunately I did drive from Scarborough to Wakefield to view this embarrassing dross then home to Beverley. I was trying to make my mind up as to whether or not the fact that I can only get to 2/3 of matches could justify a season ticket to support the club, so thanks for making my mind up for me guys. If you can't be bothered to try in the last game then nor can I. I would like to suggest that the club gives a 50% refund of today's ticket price for those who attended off their season ticket for next season as an apology for the disgrace that was brought to our club today.
