Really can't see Sammut coming here but if by freak occurence he did then i assume that the Siejka deal isn't happening, otherwise where would he play? Would prefer to hang onto Lee Smith as well to be honest, for me he is a better centre at this stage than Keinhorst and is our best goalkicker. But I guess its all about the finances again.

And to say we are about a 1000 STs under what MC quoted a while back: he hoped we'd achieve - i think we have a team in with a shout.

Yep. Very poor. Said many times the Wakefield public will get the team their apathy deserves. The club have stayed in SL in spite of them for 15 years, now when the club really needed their support it was, and still is, found wanting.

It's going to take 10-12 games to get things running smooth then we'll start playing and finish in 11th

If the crowds come and pay on the door it will be great. That is still an unknown and unfortunately relevant to performance. A slow start could hinder that but equally a couple of early points might inspire everyone again

When they have to pay full price and no freebies? I hope you're right. I'm not holding out much hope. A good season a 3k walk up may be achievable. A poor one and it will be 1500 or so.

Wishful thinking mate i fear, if we were to be a winning side (more often than not) i could see how that could positively influence the matchday attendance. I think that is unlikely and rather than attract "supporters" it might actually put some off.
Some people will blame Agar, some people will blame Mathers, some people will blame Fox, but the people havent given us little more than the basics and half a chance...as ever.

Would love to see the effect of being a settled and stable club over a three season period. If we could at least be challenging for 8th spot throughout the three seasons with no massive slumps then I'm convinced we could get decent home crowds.

Is this somebodyś guesswork about Lee Smith moving on because personally I would be sorry to see him leave.

I think most rate Smith highly as a centre, I know I do. But, we're crying out for another half and with a tight budget it's probably likely that if one comes in another must depart. When we've got Lyne, Briscoe and Keinhorst then we are surprisingly well covered in the backs with Sykes also being able to play there.

I don't rate smith but what do I know I don't rate Lynne ,keinhurst or briscoe also

When it comes to rugby knowledge I'm afraid your not in the same class choose how much you try to belittle me with your snide remarks

I've been on a lot of different forums over the year but I've never seen anyone so desperate to make people believe they're the font of all Rugby knowledge and they know better than anyone else, cringeworthy doesn't cover it. People usually demonstrate it in their posts how much they know about the game, not keep telling everyone.

Plenty of posters on here are respected for their knowledge about various subjects; that respect though, is achieved over time based on what they post, not simply because they say they know more than anyone else without actually demonstrating it.

Just a thought.
