I like it. New start and new logo. Another step in rebranding.

Its traditional & new rolled into 1. The fleur de lys at the top & the wildcat at the bottom , pleasing for everyones choice.

Great logo it jumped out at me on the slides. Agreed hope this is the logo for our future top notch !!!

Poor, compromises rarely work and this one hasn’t in my view. Pointed out on another thread it looks like an American Basketball/Netball sports club badge. It isn’t as good as the old club badge nor the current Wildcats logo.

Ideally, I would’ve liked any new badge to be an adaptation of this;

i think its a huge improvement, i admit that it is an amalgamation of a hell of a lot, but it is better than what we currently have.

I prefer it to the bloody cat on its own, mainly as it has the name in bigger type now. Just make the Fleur-de-lys bigger and just have Wakefield Trinity on it!

I'd like to see the cats head just overlapping the t & s of Wildcats so it doesn't look quite as uniformed, but that might be a bugger to embroider.

Kinda like it. It's time we dropped 'Trinity' though. It can be our silent nickname like - Loiners, Fartown, Wire etc etc.

I know its for a bite, but this should never be done. Vexed me off last night listening to the staff explain to hotel guests whats was going on by answering its something to do with Wakefield Wildcats.

I was thinking more for the kids following the club and our image as seen to others.

I personally prefer Wakefield Trinity to Wakefield Wildcats by a mile, as do all the old school fans, but someone has to be realistic. This topic has been done to death but I think it's a crucial time to implement it with the way we are moving forward.

I'm sure 25-50 years down the line Americanisms (such as cheerleaders) may fade away and we can revert back. But 24 letters is going some.

Personal choice but the logo from last night beats this one hands down IMHO

The transparent effect looks a bit iffy. I do have a HND in design so this is a subject I do know what I'm talking about!

I quite like the new logo myself. If they've any sense they'll bang a few t-shirts out with it on and then give anyone whose a member a massive discount on buying them. Another incentive!

Or, get a sponsor (Eric France/West Yorkshire Windows) to pay for a load of t-shirts with that and their logo on and give them away free at the next televised game.

Yep even better. Although I don't think we are down for another televised game right now so it would likely be too late for the membership push.

I like it but I think there is too much red and not enough blue and white on it.

I'm not keen on the logo from last night, I don't completely dislike it but the colours are out of balance, too much red not enough blue & White.

The 'Wildcats' wording is far too prominent in comparison to the 'Wakefield Trinity'

The fleur de Lys is a welcome element but too small.

It looks like the logo says 13 with a Fleur de Lys in the middle of it. It would be hard to transfer to a sticker or embroidery etc. I like it other than that though.

You could bend 1873 under the Fleur de Lys for easier replicating.

Never thought of it but surely that adds to the overall cleverness of the design!

Good to see the return of the Fleur de Lis.
