The fact Ellis only played 20mins was strange unless he was injured. He has great distribution from acting half and his a better defender than Wood. IMO more game time for Ellis and we may have done better

2 Points :-

1) I very much doubt with our salary cap spend we have 100k a year tied up with Danny Washbrook, but that said he has been one of our most consistent players so whatever he is on he has earned every penny imo.

2) Course were happy with making the 8 in the first season after the club nearly went out of existence in the recent past

Probably the only mistake he made all game. Unfortunately it was a howler. But he tackled like a demon & tried his best for his team. Stuff happens. Even if DW had gone over for that score I still think Leeds would just have had too much for you & still won.

Trin have had a great season imo.

He did superbly to cover tackle Hall which was worth a few bob.
But unfortunately that was the gamebreaker. 4 points behind with 9 to play we could have had a real dig at their line. But great effort and something to look forward to next season.
