Quote ="upthecats"I’ve always been in the Chester in camp because after two excellent seasons can appreciate how tough it was last season missing so much quality for large parts of the season.
Think Salford are finding that out now...and Ian Watson hasn’t become a bad coach overnight just shows how tough it is when so much quality is not available to you.
Us lesser fancied teams will give it a good go if we stay relatively injury free but will struggle otherwise.
Hats off to Chester and the lads today...we’re still going through adversity with two halfbacks out and Big Dave and Arona but the one big call he had to make he got spot on with Jowitt getting man of the match.
It was always going to be difficult early on because adding to the current injuries we’re having to bed in a new full back, loose forward and hooker plus we’re having to play our best left centre on the right wing...despite this...2 wins from the 4 fixtures we’ve had, after that poor start at HKR is an excellent return.
Well done CC long may it continue!'"
Spot on, agree with all that.
