Just a rumour on 24/7 R.L. page that we may be getting Craig Huby from Huddersfield. Thoughts if so?

Wait a minute. Does that mean he never performed to his best for us because his heart was really with Widnes.
Oh the potential the lad could have achieved if he'd played to his actual best with passion for the club.
I may strike him off my favourite player list now.

Huby would be a good signing and I'd have him back at Cas on a 1 year deal.
Let's not forget that he had personal issues on top of his injury problems which must have impacted on his performances. If I found out my wife was having and affair with my best mate, it would undoubtedly affect my performance at work.
At the end of 2016 he looked unfit, but it's nothing a good pre-season in the gym can't resolve. His knee and back problems may be more of an issue, but on a one year contract he's got enough ability to make it worth the risk,

Chatting to a mate at work who's a Giants fan & he says that Rick Stone has recently given an interview in their local rag which says that Huby has lost 1.5 stone recently, which has impressed him & he is now back in his plans for the forth coming season.

Pretty basic but smart coaching from Stone. Tell two players you're not sure about that they are on there way out unless they tidy up their acts. We should try it more often, worked with Reece Lyne....for a while.

Would be a decent signing and would improve the squad some people can be very harsh RL is now a high impact sport and players will get injuries EG half our squad last year
