It was out first competitive game ever! 13 new faces started today! First half we played ok. Second half we were poor, as if the game was already won! Chase going off didn't held with tommy lee playing stand off in the second half! We didn't help ourselves with constant penaltys over and over in the second half but credit to Wakefield they won't go down IMO. I think we'll get a lot better as the season goes on so to get the win is good.

Obviously gutted we didn't sneak that one but still I came away with many positives, most of which has been mentioned previously.

I can't wait to see all of Godinet, McShane and Sammut in full flow after a few games together.

Sammut will be finishing of those breaks mcshane made. We will be pushing top 10/9 when we start clicking. Just need a bit of magic in the centres along side colliss

Ironically, now I've seen the highlights, it was Tim Smith that stopped the Ali try and held him up.
Whether that was the right decision or not it is ironic considering we were all saying he was the weak link in defense.

Did Mcshane play the full 80 anyone?

I think so, whether it was intended or not I'm not sure. Keinhorst went off injured after about 5-10 minutes and that left us with just 3 subs
