Quote ="Ewwenorfolk"The segregation needs to get scrapped quickly, feels really out of place in rl IMO.
The attendance was good to see though and there was a decent atmosphere. Like others have said, shame I missed some of the action.
Happy with the result, good luck for the rest of the season. Hopefully we'll be able to stand together next season! Not fair on you lot being punished when the vast majority want to watch the game with fellow RL fans.'"
Thanks for that.
Although the atmosphere may have improves, exchanging views with other supporters was always one of the plus points in attending games and BV was one of the few places where supporters of either team were free to move around freely.
The place may be noisier than before and there is no doubt that the new stand does keep the rain off, mixing with other fans on the Western Terrace at BV was always enjoyable.
Just as an aside, a couple of pals who are genuine RL fans and take usually take in a couple of games if they can on Sundays came to Wakey on Sunday and weren't familiar with the "new" segregation thing.
They always came and stood with us (on the Western Terrace) and only one of them was in Triinity colours.
The guy in "plain clothes" went as usual onto the Western Terrace but, his pal (dressed in a Trinity shirt) was prevented from standing with him.
Fortunately I spotted him and he stood with us under the roof but, never mind its progress.
