Quote ="bren2k"It was either moving off the mark or milking a penalty, either of which are outrageous decisions, given that both things go unpunished in every game every single week; also, since HKR lost to Wigan on Friday in no small part through losing a man to the sin bin after the team had been put on a warning half an hour prior, why didn't Mr Child see fit to put Bradford on a warning, after conceding 5 or 6 penalties on the bounce for infringements in the tackle?
Often a ref will even up the penalty count to create the impression of fairness; context however, is everything - that penalty was in the dying seconds of half time - it allowed them to go score and go into the sheds virtually all square, after being out-played for 40 minutes.
Not that I'm bitter or anything.'"
What I said on here after the game was nearly identical to that. That call on cockayne was absurd. Absolutely absurd. If he's gonna penalise that, then there would be 10 penalties or more per game for the same offence at the very least.
