To be fair to Bradford, they can spend their money as they see fit, but..

They can no longer go to the council, asking for money to improve the ground.
If they need money from the council, then they are clearly living above there menas.

That's a bit harsh, SC - the city centre will be nice, when it's finished: don't suppose any of the present population will live long enough to see it, though.

That is a hell of a lot of money and it really winds me up. The fact we have just lost to Australia again and yet heres comes another, who has openly admitted he wants to end his career in SL. Bradford are not the only ones who do it and they think in the short term he will be good for Bradford but still stifles any British talent and as long as the rules stay the same the clubs will carry on.

On the signing itself, I feel he will guide them around the pitch better than Deacon has these last few seasons. His confidence seemed to have been knocked to me when he had that incident with Vagana againt NZ. I think they will be back in the top six next year, looking at there other signings as well as Orford (from OZ aswell

It's an homage to 1960's utilitarian architecture. It's a complete and utter dump.

and they STILL cannot connect the two railway sidings which makes train travel from a city of that size such a joke.

They were only 1/2 a mile away at one stage but each city centre "Improvement"







has taken them further and further away.

Bradford is a dying city IMO based on the fact that because of train trouble we had to get to Leeds via Forster Square ( now nowhwere near that place) and walk to the Interchange (of what?) . At 7-45 a.m the city centre was dead!!!!

Leeds at that time is a vibrant place.

Just glad I aint depressed as Bradford would be a lovely place to go.

It's not just that have you ever tried shopping there?

The main area's on a 1 in 4 slope.

And to be honest I don't think even a brand new shopping centre (which is taking nearly as long to build as the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona) is going to make much difference when Leeds is only 20 minutes away and has classier shops and classier people around.

Prefer Manchester to either in all honesty, but Leeds is well ahead of Bradford all the same.

Bradford is an absolute dump of a place. It would be good if Keighley could distance itself from there completely, control and improve our own town without their involvement etc.

I know Keighley is hardly paradise but a few weeks back I was on a Br*dford bus coming up Cavendish Street when I heard a couple of teenagers sat in front of me remark "Isn't it posh here? There's nothing anything anywhere near as nice as this in Br*dford. They must be all rich here."

It's a little bit far from the truth, but it made my day.

Would make mine too.

Will be passing through Keighley at some point next week, but only place I'll see is railway station. Planning to take advantage of cheap Metro deal on the Settle-Carlisle railway again this year
