| Sunday is also the first Warrington Half marathon so loads of roads will be closed, diversions in place, extra traffic for runners etc etc. Roads should be back to normal by 1pm apparently but it might be worth allowing a bit of extra time.

| Also anyone going by train should be aware, The line though Warrington Central (The station right near the stadium) is closed for engineering work. Change at Newton Le Willows for a replacement bus service.

Looks like it doesnt it. They could have had any weekend for that Half marathon. As for the railway nothing suprises me. There was 'planned' engineering work on the main line to London from Warrington on the cup final weekend, so we had no chance.

| this shouldn't (fingers crossed) affect anyone travelling to the games. The route is on the south side of the river (down by old Wilderspool). Start and finish approx 1.5 mile from Halliwell Jones. There is also church service being held with a march past afterwards in St Elphins church (near sainsburys -big steeple with scaffold on it) at 10am. this service closed Church Street just off the A57 last year, but was re-opened about 12:30pm. approx .75 mile from HJ
good luck on sunday, will be myself plus 3 there second half to add our support

I'm glad i'm going by coach. The railways are a complete joke at weekends. I've been to 3 away games by train this season and 2 of them have had rail bus services on them. Not to mention them trying to rip you off for travelling from Keighley. Keighley to Oldham is £17 quid or so. From Br*dford Interchange it's £9.

You got well over charged. What they should have done, was sell you a Metrotrain dayrover that costs about £5, that would get you as far as Walsden, then get a Walsden to Oldham Day return again about £5.

| Just a quick question from an outsider do the cougar fans see new reserve team coach matt Bramald as a successor to first team coach Barry Eaton

| I do not think matt bramald is anything more than reserve team coach. It would be great if warrington shout for the cougars on sunday. If it will sway you i like lee briers.

I got a bus K-Day which got me from Long Lee to Interchange and back for £3 and then got £9 return ticket from there to Oldham. Which is about the same as it costs to buy Keighley-Forster Sq return and Interchange-Oldham return. Which in turn is a good fiver cheaper than Keighley-Oldham return. Which asks the question. Why is British Rail charging £5 for you to risk life and limb walking across Br*dford city centre? Which is what the official National Rail enquiries system tells you to do.

And all is forgiven for Steve Hall's broken leg and that last second kick from the touchline by Jonathan Davies.

I think the bus prices are a joke around here, but the K-Day ticket is a steal at £3.
If you can use a K-Day to there, I think you could get a bus to Hebden Bridge and then a shorter train journey to Oldham aswell? It might be slightly cheaper also.
The train ticket pricing system is a bit of a shambles and many don't really understand it.

They're less frequent I suppose. It might be easier to go to Bradford most times then.
