Do any long-standing Cougars fans remember a strong running centre named Mark Milner who played in the mid-90s ?

Am I correct in thinking that he had long hair in a pony tail and had it pulled in a match, resulting in an opposing player getting a ban on subsequent video evidence ?

I only ask in the light of Giants prop Eorl Crabtree getting the same treatment last week against the Bulls - and Tadulala getting no suspension.

I'd be interested if anyone can shed further light on the matter please so that it wasn't just a figment of my imagination.

yes your correct, mark milner played in the third division title winning side of 92/93 under peter roe and captained by joe grins, nicknamed wild man mark played left centre and was very quick, he signed from featherstone if memory serves me correctly.

I remember Mark "Wild Thing" Milner he was a good centre/winger.

Sometimes used to take the odd kick at goal and had a tendency to hook them. seem to remember one ending up closer to the half-way line than the posts

Milner was a cracking centre.

At the time we had been using Phil Stephenson and Carlton Farrell in those positions, so he added a lot of pace to the side.
