Scott Law for me.

I do think Jones needs to believe in himself a little more.

I'd of given it to Scott too, and I also agree about jones he had a good though,presleys the same, a bit more belief and we have the best halfback pairing in the league.

It seemed as if we won on half speed.
The win was never in doubt.

But i bet Barry must be so frustrated.
So many times if a pass had come off, or if someone had held onto the ball, a try was begging.

I really do wonder just how good we can be when it all clicks.

Nice to see Danny Jones' kicking vastly improved though!

If you look at Danny Jones kicking not including today has got better and better if you look at the scoring charts it tells it own story.

As Guess Who says just think how good we will be when everything clicks into place.

I was stood in the corner next to the scoreboard in the first half and could clearly hear London players shouting at each other to target Presley. They repeatedly ran forwards at him I assume to tire him out and affect his playmaking ability but also because he is small.

I thought he handled it well and responded with some key plays in the second half, even though some numpties in the Turner stand were giving him some grief - why do "fans" do this - do they think that insulting their own players is motivational?

Agree that Scott Law was MOM, he just gets better and better.

And as you say they were targeting him. Time and time again the calls to run at him were clearly heard.
If anything he has to take it as a huge compliment. This clearly shows how much they were worried about him.

As for the people in the Turner stand

Good point about John,as for fans insulting him in the Turner stand ,only thing i heard were people telling him to get more involved.
Just watched Scott Laws first try on youtube,man he takes it well

I would suggest that those who "look" at the game are the ones who "hear" this so called "criticism" and react accordingly

Those who "Watch" the game are usually people who can see what's actually going on and pass comment.

I could be wrong but it's very rare this season that I have heard any "adverse comment" aimed at a particular player but a lot about situations and types of play.

Mind you I do think it comes down to "understanding"



What I do find "interesting" is that the coach seems to "watch" the game and comments accordingly in the Keighley News and League Express

Must say some of the criticism of some players is odd because the players are damned if they do or do not try something.

I still hear folk moaning about DannyJones kicking as previously mentioned his record speaks for itself.

The moaning is about his kicks to toutch. Not often he gets more than 10 yards

Are you watching same game as me, granted he does not get the most distance but is doing ok.

Ah, but he is improving so maybe the distance is the next bit of his kicking game to be worked on. I didn't rate him much as a goal kicker originally but he's certainly improved that element of his game! Let's wait and see what happens.

The whole point is some here criticise players in this instance Danny Jones about 1 aspect of his play why not trying being positive about the fact he scored 10 from 10 kicks on sunday plus ran the game, is that not what he is meant to do.

here here. I didn't see the game but 10 from 10 is first class. Constructive criticism is ok aswel though. However lets not forget knighty kicking long kicks last year and not making touch. So Danny is getting the basics right and then I am sure looking to improve.

Reborn I agree constructive criticicism is ok but some voices on sunday were calling both Danny and Jon useless nearly all the time, that is my issue with it.

Useless they are not. That is unfair. Although I did used to shout at Knighty a lot myself last year and I have been known to shout at Scott for dropping the ball a lot aswel although he seems to hold on to it more now.
