Yes it did have everything to do with what he was singing but it was just a he sung you'll never walk alone so he was killed. There was a lot more too it, plus the fight that led to his death lasted quite a while. If you know the dull story fair enough, as I do but it isn't just as simple as you make it out to be.

The way I wrote it was wrong but it was a major part of what happened and things escalated quickly.

I'm in 100% agreement. I don't buy any of this "ooh he's always struggled through with barely no cash to buy players" thing that he seems to be labelled with. At West Ham he spent loads more cash than teams around them did (whilst still producing good players and selling them for a major profit to be fair), same with Portsmouth and he's certainly not been short of splashing out at Spurs neither. Nothing at all to do with anyone trousering any cash per deal though I'm sure.

The only people who want Rednapp as England manager are the fools who insist the England manager should be English. For that reason, and that reason only, managers like Redknapp and Allardyce are touted as potential England managers.

But just as there are many in the media who want Redknapp to succeed and become England manager because he is English, there will be many, many more people in the media who would be out for Redknapp because of all the shady business surrounding him.

Redknapp's not worshipped by anyone. He's simply clung to as one of the only English managers who manage to survive in the PL. Managers like Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho and Benitez have worshippers. But I don't think there's anyone in the English media who you could say worships Harry Redknapp. They simply know he's among the best of a very bad lot.

Harry has many followers, many people like/love him and the amount of negative press surrounding him is minimal compared to the amount of bad press Benitez would get. The general opinion surrounding Harry is all very similar, he's 'one of the lads', a 'lovable bloke' and they can always have a bit of banter with him in an interview.

I wasn't confident before, I'm really not confident now. Without Jags, Fellaini and Pienaar we're really weak, especially midfield. I think Moyes might go with something similar to the midfield that started at Birmingham so Coleman, Arteta, Neville as holding mid and Ossie with Cahill supporting Yak, although he could put Billy in for Colman and play it as you call it but I don't Moyes will throw Billy in.
