They're both crazy if it ends up that way, I can't see TNA ever been anything other then minor league compared to WWE, as much as I like TNA (at times).

Nah no way mate, TNA tried it in January and it bombed - WWE (as bad as it is at times) just has too much brand awareness and long-term fan loyalty, TNA's been running 8 years now and they're still letting everyone in free.

Hope I'm wrong and that TNA mounts a real challenge, but they've made some serious mistakes the last 8 months with Hogan, Bischoff, ECW etc.

Thing is, TNA have been trying to mount a challenge since it started. Every new WWE cast off signed was supposed to be them turning the corner and being able to go toe to toe with WWE and it just hasn't happened.

TBH, TNA reminds me of WCW just before it folded.

And me to be honest.

Got a lot of respect for Dixie Carter (from what I've seen she's extremely down-to-earth and approachable e.g. with fans at events which I admire), but have to wonder if she knows what she's doing there.



The likes of Paul Heyman and Jim Cornette (two of the best minds in the history of pro wrestling) have both recently questionned the point of parading ECW guys, most of whom sadly are many, many years past their peaks.

If I was in charge of TNA, I would get all the ECW guys off screen (though no doubt some could be good writers/bookers e.g. Raven who's got a great mind), pay off Hogan, Bischoff, Flair, Foley etc. Build the company around guys under 35 like AJ, Wolfe, Pope, Joe etc. Have guys around who can still be great like Anderson & Angle, and completely re-build the once-great Knockouts Division - bring Kim back, Kong back, ODB, etc, and make TNA exciting to watch again, with a strong X Division too.

They've got so much potential and so many great wrestlers, but sometimes (like WCW) you wonder if they actually know what to do with them.

I saw the vid he did following dirt sheet reports that he'd been sent home from a European tour. He shows that he's still in England, however, it also seems he's more than a little drunk.

Bet some great stories of WWE. Despite the knocks he gets I think his WWF/WWE runs should be remembered for the way him and Jeff revolutionised tag-team wrestling, before both going on to good singles careers. They brought unpredictability and excitement to WWF in the late 90's/2000's (along with the Dudleys and E&C) that we probably wob't see again for a long time, the Hardy's were a massive part of the Attitude Era and whatever 'demons' they've both got now, their achievements should never be forgotten.

Reports are that Mickie James has signed with TNA and will debut either on the live iMPACT! on 07/10/10 or Bound For Glory on 10/10/10.

This will be a return to TNA for Mickie as she wrestled for them in 2002 and 2003 in the weekly PPV days.

Good signing if true, she turned into a decent worker and was equally over as a heel and face in WWE.

hope she gets treated with respect and becomes a valuable member if a rehabilitated Knockouts Division, the way she was treated in WWE towards the end was absolutely disgusting.

Mickie (Or Alexis Laree as she went by in TNA before) is the only woman to ever compete in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match.



Having the original Gathering back together would be awesome, though for obvious reasons CM Punk wouldn't be there.

Hmm, have to slightly disagree there. He's had some pretty good singles matches over the last 7 or 8 years, including a fantastic Cruiserweight match with Rey Mysterio as the SmackDown main event years ago which did strong ratings (disproving McMahon's apparant belief that cruiserweights can't draw). His fued with MVP was also enjoyable, + as stated on the UKFF he always manages to remain over on the house show circuit too (found this out first-hand when been to see WWE live).

Hardy was right in his shoot interview - Jeff has always got more credit and been flashier, but Matt does the groundwork better.

WWE in Skegness the other week (SmackDown house show), would love to have gone but was only open to holiday-makers paying for weekend there or something.

For anyone planning to attend the 21 Century Wrestling Entertainment show at the Hull Arena on Sunday 10th October, it appears judging by the UKFF that it's been cancelled.



All-Star at City Hall on Friday 8th Oct and NGW in Hull on Sunday 17th Oct are still on though.
