With the mid season test v France coming up and usually the main players rested and the fringe players and youngsters getting a chance at international what would be your team?

If Smith is definately going to union then he should be nowhere near the team. Nothing against him, but if he's not available for full tests and tournaments then he shouldn't be in contention here.

Tomkins in the England team after 4 games?

Smith went to Australia after only '1 game'=red*

Richard Myler played for England without playing a single game in Super League.

Not seen any form from Burgess yet, he's been out for a while though.

I'd be pleasantly amazed if Ainscough and Sam are in there, but why not? Myler played before he'd been in Super League and he looks the real deal if last Friday is anything to go off. Ryan Hall over Owen for me too. No Senior as well, looks weird after all these years!

He might try Gleeson at stand off again, even more so now he coaches him at Wire.

He played very well 5/8th at The Keepmoat.

It's a fair point, but Wales were way out of their depth that day. Not convinced he is stand-off material.

Still had a good year in the NL1. Give Sam a bit more time imo

Interesting to see Tomkins at 6 and Eastmond at 7 if both are fit at the time. Hopefully Eastmond will be back soon as he's a real England star of the future.

Definitely an embarassment of riches in the halves with Eastmond, Myler and Tomkins

If selected, it would be interesting to know Noble's views.

Nobby has been big on the "if they're good enough, they're old enough" theme this season so if he's true to his word he should back their inclusion.

They'll have a few more games (hopefully) under their belts by then so a fair judgement can be made.

I would pick nobody over the age of 25 for this test because the next world cup is in 2013 so not many 28/29 will be still playing in SL unless there called stanley gene.
