i highly doubt that it involved the police (as many are suggesting on here, other forums and websites) then if he has gone to aus. he wouldn't have been allowed to leave the country.

Although we are short of experienced players I think IL & MM will try and see this through without bringing any news players to the club.
Richards, Finch, Fielden and Roberts are missing with Gleeson's status being an unknown. That is a lot of experience injured.
When they do come back and when Fielden recovers Hock could be on his way back, the squad will look formidable.
As we all know the season is end loaded as far as trophies go and if we could get them all fit then things would be looking good.
I do feel that they will run with what we've got at present and give Marsh and Charnley their opportunity.
It also seems the right way to do things as well.

Stevo on sky sports news at 14.30 today commented that his sources stated that Gleeson had gone to Aus in search of a new club, currently on suspension from Wigan although nothing from Wigan officially about the rumours. Seems strange to broadcast it on a national news channel if theres no truth in it. I assume i can repeat on here whats been on tv without falling victim to a deleted post

its becoming very very weird, why can some news people say things like the above, without the club making and official statement??

I must say I am surprised we've not heard anything from the club. I'd have thought they'd have wanted it all sewn up by know, but at present it's still hanging over the club. Still were only on Thursday plenty of time left to announce what's going on before Sunday's showdown against FC.

Just reading he has been deregistered whilst injured and will be re-registered when fit and the big Willie has had his cheating Tongan status approved!

Anybody who looked at Twitter last Friday night will have seen what can happen when you are unmoderated - if I was one of the players mentioned (there were more than one) and saw what was being said on there, I'd have the people posting traced to find out who they were, and make sure they lived in a cardboard box for the rest of their life.
