monday is going to be a very tough game. carmont shouldn't play, goulding to centre with roberts back to the wing and phelps to fullback. prescott's nose wasn't the best so if we have the resources id rest him but not sure we can go with three props against what will be a very determined side.

If we get through monday with a win id give some of the senior members of the squad 2 weeks off with no dis respect to salford/sheffield we should beat them with a few missing give the likes of liam faz, veivers charnley ago we need to make sure we give our players a decent rest as it will freshen them up

I hope Farrell gets a game.
I think it makes sense and then someone who played on Friday can be rested.
Farrell's definately up for it IMO.

Agreed. Maguire doesn't strike me as the sort of coach to take unnecessary risks of this sort. Especially when, as you say, he has masses of useful back-up.

I would leave Carmont and Prescott out for the next 3 weeks so they can fully recover.

As next week we have Salford and no disrespect to them but i feel we can win there without the above 2. And the week after we have the CC and i would bring Ainscough back for that one jut to make sure he is cup tied with us.

I think leigh are lucky, as they seem to be keeping all their dual contract players.But i cant complain as we have played farrell and davies regular.Hoping we can now extend davies for the season, with haggerty and pickersgill out for the season.Goodluck on monday.

Wigan could well have 5 players missing through injury tomorrow.

It has been a long time since we have been in a position to go in to a game with such injuries and still be confident of our depth.

To add to this we still have a further 4 players out on loan,

Ainscough, Tuson, Davies and Holland.

We have some real strength in depth this year.

Carmont was ready to come back on against Saints. Coley is fit enough but rested. Prescott only has a facial injury.
